Hey all, I'm sure most of you know about Power Up if you're in NH or MA, and probably post on DDRMaine; but if you do not, I figured I'd inform.

Power Up is a small, psuedo-private Arcade/Bemani Center. Machine listing:

What is Power Up?
Power Up is the hobby business of Snooj: DDR fanatic, businessman, host of DDRMaine, and co-creator of DDRecall. As an arcade, it focuses primarily on the Bemani series, games devoted to music and movement. Power Up also has a plethora of old classics from Ms Pac Man to Xenophobe. Compared to large arcades like a Tilt, Namco, or GTE, it's pretty tiny, but for Sanford Maine, it's pretty awesome. Because Snooj, the owner, is also an avid player, the machines are kept in excellent condition and problems such as bad sensors that plague other arcades are taken care of quite rapidly.

Power Up tends to have a Freeplay Party that lasts 24 hours once a month. At these parties there is also a game room set up with console games, and anything you wish to bring is fine.

The closest Power Up Freeplay Party is actually THIS Friday, the 28th of July, at noon, until noon on Saturday July 29th. The official thread for the FPP at DDRMaine is here. If anyone wants to come, register and RSVP!

Well, Power Up is now closed. For good. Many of you probably know already. TGA acquired Power Ups complete inventory, and it will be moved down on Saturday this weekend.
