Ala Moana Center Stage DDR Tourney?

Do any of you remember the tourney @ Jungle Fun last year that got canceled? lol, so many ppl showed up that they uncanceled it. So why not throw another one at the mall, but on center stage? We're already in the progress in getting a local sponsor, and getting the mall to approve it. We still would like to get sponsored, and possibly have a guest from KCET to attend. So, we're gonna need ideas for the letter, petition, and video that we're gonna send. Even if KONAMI doesn't sponsor we're throwing the tourney anyway. -But on a more serious note, what kind of tourney should this one be?

Meeting at Mililani Town Center @2pm Sat 4/21 for discussion. -And yes there will be free pizza.

I think this is a little out of question though...although its a GREAT idea.

It should be another heavy/singles double elimination tourney.

And...it should take place about 2 months after I go into hard training >=]

So that I can get my PA back, and thus place top 3 ;]

That sounds like an AWESOME idea. Tell me what I need to do to help this idea become reality. I have a bit of friends that would totally be up for helping this out, so if mass help is needed..

We were actually able to put a lot of stuff together already. We got contact numbers and addresses for KDE and KCET. -And get this; last month Konami and Nexgym announced that they're going to sponsor a series of tournaments at all locations at major cities in major states.....THIS year. All we have to do is get them to open up one here, or have 24Hour Fitness and Konami dual sponsor our tourney. More info this Saturday @Mililani. -But if you can't make it, just post ANY and all ideas here. Thnx!

Well...Actually, getting Ala Moana is the easy part. All you have to do is fill out an application. Doubles? Not such a bad idea....

I'll only compete in PIU tournaments and DDR double play tournaments. I'm too bad at single in DDR to bother.
