This thread is to promote the upcoming tournament hosted by Asia Pacific Cyber Games. There is big cash involved! $500 will be divided up to first, second, and third place Heavy.

There is only one way to register and that is done
HERE. After you submit your info, you will be asked to pay via paypal. If you do not have paypal, you can skip this optional screen and pay at the door.
ENTRY FEE IS $20! That may sound like a lot, but for a tourney that is giving away at least $500 it is well worth it.
In addition to the $20 entry fee. There is a $3 cover charge for the expo itself but this can be waived by
printing out this free eCoupon. Yes you have to register both ways.
General Rules
Age limitation: No one under 17 is allowed without
Parental Consent Form and/or adult supervision, in accordance with the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) ratings.
Anyone under the age of 17 needs a parent and/or guardian to print, review, sign and present the APCG
Parental Consent Form at the event.
Anyone younger than the age of 13 is required to have a parent or guardian present if they are to remain at the event.
Alcohol and drug policy: possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages, narcotics, or controlled substances will not be allowed at the event. Participants who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be ejected from the event.
Smoking policy: smoking regulations will remain within the boundaries of venue management policy.
Designated smoking areas will be provided.
No food or drinks from outside the venue will be allowed This event will adhere to all of the rules and policies of the venue and venue management.

The DDR Tournament is a one-day tournament. Don’t forget to
print free admission coupons available at FREE eCoupon admission to get into the expo. Getting into the expo is a separate fee of $3 without this eCoupon.
Tournament is limited to 32. After 32 people have signed up, a waiting list will be created.

Tournament registration is $20 per person.
All rounds will be Double elimination. The tournament will be played on Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA. All Pads will be calibrated, tightened, etc. In each match, the player who is higher ranked will get to choose which side of the pad they want to play.
Seeding
Seeding will be randomly determined via computer program.
Modifiers
Any modifiers can be allowed with the exception of "Little" and "Freeze off". "Solo" will only be allowed if BOTH players agree to having it on. If the mix happens to be SuperNOVA, we will add "Jumps off" to the list of unallowed modifiers.
Song Selection
Songs will be selected using the card system for preliminary rounds. 5 songs will be selected randomly via a card drawing computer program. The two competitors are presented with the 5 songs and each will pick one song that they DO NOT wish to play thus eliminating two songs total. The remaining 3 songs will be the set to be played.
Scoring
Perfects will be worth 2 points, Greats are worth 1 point, and O.K.! freezes are worth 2 points.
Prizes
Prizes are dependant upon attendance. 1st place receives 60% of prize money, 2nd receives 25%, 3rd place receives 15%.
