bleh i couldn't get in a game of IIDX yesterday. someone must've jammed it before.. every time i put in a coin the machine spits it out on the other end.
Yeah, 808 Spot is still there, but it's tiny and terrible and hopeless. I doubt it'll ever grow again. This thread is more active than the 808 Spot.
And yes, Hawaii sucks ass at DDR. Our best players aren't even the best in the nation anymore. Even I'm considered one of the upper-tier players and I'm not that good.
I show up at Brian's once every few months, so don't try to find me there. I go to Jungle Fun fairly often, but I have no set schedule for trips to Ala Moana. You'll most likely find me on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and any time on a Friday. Sometimes if I'm lucky I get off of work and can go on other days. Every so often I'll go to the Fun Factory in Waikiki or Pearl Ridge, as well as Tilt at Pearl Ridge.
If I were smart I'd stop playing the game and stick with PIU at D&B's.
ddr at brians is ok. the right side pad is pretty ok but the left side is terrible and u cant hear the music over IIDX. the itg left side pad was good till i went yesterday and it was out of order. i played on the right side and the up arrow was giving me pad greats/misses. not to mention u cant hear the itg machine because of how loud the ddr machine is and u cant hear both ddr and itg because of how loud IIDX is.
You really think so? I find that playing either of those machines, I can hear the sound pretty clearly, with hardly and interference from the other machines.
raf and i could probly come play some ddr with you maybe tuesday or thursday at jungle fun. its up to u though.

the volume on the itg machine is so low i mean if knowone is playing ddr or beatmania then u can hear it fine. same goes with ddr is knowone is playing beatmania u can hear it fine as well
