Update 02-01-07: Dallas / Fort Worth Gaming Alliance

OK everyone, here is my release of the Dallas / Fort Worth Gaming Alliance. I'm starting this, along with a friend, and at least 3 more people on a board of directors to increase the general playing of games and increase the amount of tournaments on all types of gaming peripherials, ranging from arcade to handhelds to older systems. Mainly if you can hold a tournament with enough people, we will do it. Will be looking for sponsors and supporters, and members once we get going. Further details will come once available. Launch party will be set for March 5, 2007 unless further push back is needed. I will try to get more information posted about this ASAP. Anyone wishing to join the DFWGA newsletter or organization, feel free to drop me a line on here or at DFWGA. Talk to everyone soon, and get practicing. - Brent Cochran
UPDATE 02-01-07:
I'm currently looking for 4 people to be on the Board of Directors. Will be accepting applications over the next 3 weeks to find the right people. The four slots that are open are as follows:
Microsoft Advisor
Sony Advisor
Nintendo Advisor
Other / General Advisor
The four slots are needed to help govern the games played during tournament and to help with any debates on rules or regulations. All slots are allowed to play during tournaments unless someone cant cover the tournament while you are playing. All slots MUST BE FILLED before we can launch the DFWGA. An online application will be able for download starting Monday or you can apply online once I get it up and running.
