Although I hardly live there anymore, but my heart is still there. Blasted denton funness despite its uber crapiness.

Anyone happen to know if the DDR at the UNT Syndicate. Or was it sydnicate is still up and working? I remember when someone said that the machine had completely broke due to the rooftop caving in through water or so.

Why I think Denton is so good actually?

Mainly due to the fact that it is located right in the center of everything so you REALLY don't have to drive TO far. But its still a decent ways out.

And I might actually be making a trip up there sometime soon because I will be visiting some family soon.

Also, whenever Destroyer regs in. Did you ever get to try that Mame like machine in the bar? I can't remember what is its name but I think it was Ultracade.

P.S. : If you have never tried an Ultracade I suggest you drop whatever it is you are doing and find one now.

as of right now what i know, the one in brunswick is still operational, the one at tilt is running, but is still a POS, and the one at UNT is still down from what i know, only thing thats different is the addition of Soul Calibur 3 to Tilt, so yeah, of to work i go - Brent

Well Thats what we got, im still trying to convince them to get a T5 Dark Resurrection and possibly convert something back to a Tekken Tag, which I like more than what we have so far - Brent

Dest, if you were curious about SC3:

I tried it yesterday. It's in the old Tekken 4 cabinet with new sticks. They're nice and springy but a little too responsive in menus. The new "Legend Character" system is alright, I guess, I'm just pissed someone beat me to making a Mitsurugi. >=/

In this version, instead of everyone having a character, you simply select what character you want to play and then pick a Legend Character to either power up or power down. The only way you can make yourself the new Legend Character is if:

1) You beat the character, AND
2) You are a higher level than them. This is why you have to power them down a few times (I averaged around Lv 70) before you can be the new Legend. Once you are, you can power yourself back up and give yourself whatever stats you want. As your stats get higher you learn cool stuff like Auto Throw Escape and Ring Out Prevention.

They even have that old level from the first Soul Calibur where you're just on a square wooden raft going down a river or something. Some of the levels have really nice backgrounds.

All in all, I'd say it's kinda cool for now, just got to play it more to see if it has the kinda depth I could get into.
