Oh excellent, Roger will be in charge again and make excuses for why he can't maintain his shit.

Yeah this blows though =/ I'd like to get some Drummania in so I can maintain at least some level of supremacy in this region... although last I saw, that one blonde dude was pretty damn good, probably better than me.

Are you talking about JW? Last time I even touched the Ex-atown machines was when roger had GF11/DM10 up and I remember seeing some blonde dude passing Classic Party Revival on EX and getting a really good grade on it.

Nah, JW is the ONLY guy in probably the Southern United States better than me at Guitar Freaks, but he doesn't play Drummania much

This guy was uh... blonde, short hair, wore Jesus t-shirts sometimes

After you two guys I would probably be third best I hope. Of course, I haven't seen ANYONE play GF or even remotely good in it for months (Aren't you mainly focused in Drummania though? I remember seeing you there a good amount of times and you were always on the DM machine =p). I don't live up there anymore so I had an ASC for a few months before I sold it because I'm stupid. But I've literally sky rocketed in skill while I've had coming out with a good amount of songs excellented or black flagged and passing 98 level songs.

Which reminds me, has JW been able to pass TL 100 secs on ex? I rarely ever caught him at A-town but I know he was DAM good at the game.

P.S. I miss the old days of session with you guys =(

P.P.S. I'm going to austin within the next week or two to play some GuitarFreaks V.

Hahaha sounds badass, you might actually be better than us now :3
And nah, I played both games about equally, I think DM is just probably my favorite. I seriously doubt JW or anyone around here ever passed The Least 100 Sec. on extreme... he might have done it on advanced though. I could never consistently even beat that song on basic.

Austin eh? Hmm...

They "had" a drummania V as well sessionable but they got rid of it a long time ago due to the fact that no one seems to take care of those machines.

Of course I can just pass 90+ songs but I do so horrible on them. with usually a grade of D which is like 75% of the time O.o

JW should still be the best IMO because I've seen some of his old scores and he has excellented songs I've come close to full comboing with a low great percentage.

JW has forsaken GF for Guitar Hero. We hung out and played a few GF songs on his ASC at his new apartment, and our scores were nowhere near the level they used to be.

Heads up, CyberTown is trying to reopen at Valley View Mall. Not sure exactly when they'll be open, but it should be soon.

He needs to get his ass on Rock Band when it comes out, I will be his drum partner :3 I'll have to get a 360 though.

If there's any word on CyberTown/Zone/whatever being open, please let us know! I called Shotokan Anime today and they said the boards for GF/DM should be on overnight from Japan, and to call back tomorrow(today) or the day after. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

Can you clarify of the GF11/DM10 being in another anime store? I've only HEARD they were there but didn't really know much about the condition and such what not.

Well Roger's machines are at Shotokan Anime in Hurst right now, they confirmed that when I called them. And I've heard stuff from other people that suggests the same... apparently the guy that runs Shotokan actually cares about maintaining his equipment and running a business correctly! Imagine that!

I'll probably post again later today after I call about the maintenence, but they don't open until like 3 PM so I have to wait until then.

OK SO I just got off the phone with (I think the guy's name is) Chris, who runs Shotokan. He called Roger while I was on the phone with him, and Roger says (in between hitting the crack pipe) to check back Saturday or next Saturday.

What I also found out is not only are the machines being completely repaired/serviced/broken drums replaced etc., they are UPGRADING. I am not sure which mix, is V3 out? In any case that is good news for us in DFW who have not had an upgrade in like 3 years. :3

Despite being jerked around for years by Roger, I cannot help but be excited!

Oh snap, if things work out, I might be moving up there back to Denton within a week or two maybe even less. V3 is out and they are currently testing on V4. Would be super sexy if those machines ended up being a V2 or V3 even better O.o

Well I called them on Saturday and they said that Roger is waiting on some part (HIS OLD FUCKING EXCUSE AGAIN), and that the ball is in his court.
The dude there said that Roger wants these machines working even more than me, and I suggested that Roger is probably more interested in smoking rocks. The guy seemed to agree.

Anyway I'll try to keep you posted.

Good god not that again. I remember when he did that when Atown got GFDM 11/10 and it took MONTHS for the GF 11 to be up and running.

Not to mention GF11/DM10 is probabaly the WORST set any arcade can have due to the fact you NEED the E-amuse to be able to play all the songs since it only has a handful of returns while the rest are sitting locked.
