Im in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for like 2 months and I was wondering if any of you know any machines located around here. I used to know of 2. I saw a red in the irving mall waay before I got into IIDX and now I think they closed it down. There also used to be an 8th style at the anime store but i talked to the owner at Akon 18 since he had a booth in the dealers room again (which was really small compared to last yrs) and he said he went bankrupt or something. I forgot to ask him what he did with the machine and now im pissed that I forgot to ask so I couldve bought it off of him. XD I tried google, VJ Army, and here to see if I could find anything but everythings so outdated. So can anyone help me out? I dont care what style....just anything would suffice....as long as its working.

ive been in DFW for a year or so and the only beatmania machine i know of thats active is in valley view in north dallas. its a BMIII (5 keys and footpedal) with a really crappy screen and unresponsive keys. i heard of a 5 key beatmania machine at a main event too, i think the one in ft worth but i havent been to that one.

last time i heard about the 8th style from the anime store was that it was moved to some skating rink in ft worth, but that was numerous months ago and i havent been able to take a trip to see if the machines are still there.

and as far as i remember, there was no red in irving mall, just the 8th that moved to the anime store later on, which, as you already know, closed down and sent to said skating rink (as far as i know)

Irving Mall had 8th Style. Moved to Anime Store. Anime Store shut down.

As far as I know, the Animation Town machines are supposed to be in the process of being put up again at some skating rink, but to my knowledge this hasn't been confirmed yet.

It's not in the process of, it's been there for months and it's in Fort Worth called "Fort Worth Ice".

From what I heard the GF machine is still off, the DM cymbals are messed up again, and the Beatmania IIDX controller is dissasembeled.
