 Miami thread
Is anyone playing in Miami at all? I did a search and found there were no instances of the word Miami on this forum. I'll get this thing rolling with some thoughts:
GameWorks at Sunset Place: two machines in good condition. Pretty lousy place to play thanks to the loud music they pipe in throughout the arcade, though. Makes it hard to hear the DDR.
AMC at Sunset Place: One DDR Extreme machine with a slightly distorted screen (no trouble reading it, though.) Decent if you have a movie ticket. Sometimes they'll even let you in if you tell them it's just to play the games. Occasionally you get people watching, and occasionally you get irresponsible parents letting their rugrats climb on the machine.
My place: pretty pimping setup, with a laptop connected to a big screen TV and home theater.
So far I have never seen any other serious players at any of these places. The only people to ever try were people trying it for the first time and then giving up. Any other players around here? |
