I actually was in San Antonio last weekend since my sister was coming down from Austin to celebrate her birthday.

I only went to two places, Cyberzone @ Ingram Park Mall & Diversions on San Pedro.

Cyberzone looks really dead, even on Saturdays. They had DDR 5th Mix, which I was happy to play, but the coin slot was giving so much trouble. The Beatmania IIDX was alright, got to play it once.

Diversions @ San Pedro, well, was another story. One of the 2 Extreme machines there had many of their bg videos removed! Yes, I'm not kidding, they were removed. The other machine's screen is stretched.

you should of went to the one on culebra. san pedro is garbage ever since they got rid of 6th mix

San Pedro sucks, big time. -_-;

The Diversions over on S.W. Military's okay. So's the one at teh Miyan Theater.

Cyber Zone get's really crouwded on Tuesday and Thursday, half price day.

Game Works is the best. IMO

And Peter Piper Pizza, both on SW Military and on Fredricksburg, have GREAT DDR machines. The Peter Piper on Fredricksburg has DDR: Mega Mix, I think it is, I went there yesterday. It's great, but the pads are so close to the screen you feel like you're gonna fall and smack into it. v_v;

Yes, if you hand't notice, I live in San ANtonio. =P

are you of age to drink? ever been to dave and busters? I think they have and ITG or P^ machine. and some bitch at cyberzone said that they dont do the keys anymore. wtf is up with that

Yes, I've been to Dave and Busters. And they have a PIU Machine. The closest ITG is in Houston I think. D&B never used Keys, they've only used cards.

...

Oh, no wait, yeah they did use keys before. CZ is getting rid of those key slots and just switching to tokens now. =D

One of the Peter Piper Pizza locations in SA has an ITG dedicab. Not sure where, though.

Last time I was in San Antonio was for the BemaniMax tourney back in 2002.

Good times.

Too bad I hear it went downhill from that.

CZ is pretty much garbage now except for the IIDX 8th Style & DDR 5th Mix with WORKING MEM CARD slots - I think I'm the only one who puts those things to good use.

As for Diversions San Pedro - it's always been garbage, but it's all about the people you take with you. I'm sorry to hear that it's gotten progressivly worse since I've left though. Damn shame.

Probably because, SA used to have them at the arcades? x_X

Also, I've been meaning to try out the mem slots in 5th mix.

But it'll have to wait until we can go there again. <<

I'm glad someone still remembers my humble little attempt at a tournament. Not to much talk about the DDR/Bemani San Antonio tournament scene on the internet...or so it seems. Maybe I should just come outta nowhere with BemaniMax 2: The Return...or something like that.
