Hey, San Antonio!

We Love Pop'n Music!

CZIP now has a Pop'n 8 machine up and running. I managed to rank in 3rd on Challenge, so see if FOXX is still in the rankings if you get to drop by. Also, a Percussion Master machine has been put in facing the entry, between the two DDR machines. Still no sign of DDR:SN, but at least BMIII 7th was back up and running.

Well, no DDR SN (SuperNova) yet, but the guy there swears it's coming, why, just three or four weeks ago now. Pop'n Music 8, though, apparently just got installed this morning. I went in, saw it, and asked "How long has this been here?" and was told "About an hour." If you're not familiar with the game, it's the same general concept as beatmania, but you have nine, large, colorful buttons to press instead of black/white keys and a turntable. Very bright, happy graphics as well.

I also added you gothy, so check your friend request . Hey fox who are you? It seems that you are always there when im there. I was the guy playing doubles on the 7th machine and getting fustrated on the 8th style machine ( 2p side switchs are randomly clicking )

MAN, I've been waiting for that one to get here! Hopefully they'll get it in soon <<....

@ Gothy: Nope, no ITGs, unless you go to Houston. But I know a few locations for PIU if you want to know. =)

Edit: ....Damn Gothy... you're tall.... oO

And for some reason I can't find the "Add To Friends Button" on your MS page.... =/

I tend to be pretty flighty about what I'm playing. I'll usually get at least one Marathon in on DMX when I'm there, and now that we have Pop'n, I'll probably play that a good bit. Rest of my time is probably about an even split between IIDX, GF, and now III. Still haven't gotten the feel for III yet, particularly when I finally got to try Foot Mode.

Every once in a while I'll hit one of the DDR machines, and defintely will play it more if/when SN shows up, but I usually prefer playing at home on the soft pads with socks. Hard pads + shoes = pained fox.

If you think you see me, feel free to say hi. I'm around 6', short red hair. FWIW, I'm 29, but I'm not sure how old I actually look. For a while, people always told me I looked younger than I am, but I haven't heard it as much lately. What I do hear is that people don't believe I weigh as much as I do (210) and that they further don't believe I could ever have been as heavy as I was (255). DDR weight loss plan success story.

As soon as San Antonio gets a SuperNova, I'm definetly making a return home JUST to play. It's a shame though that you can't make Link Data withing the US SuperNova (PS2) to plug into the arcade. Guess that's strictly for the Japanese. Boooo.

Pop'n on the other hand, must be nice. Although, I was never really good at it, so not good enough for me to make a return to SA.

I thought there was an ITG somewhere - but I could be wrong. Gameworks? Malibu Castle? Have you checked everywhere?
