haha, i saw them booting it up and messing with the pad earlier today. couldn't stay to play it though. DDR EX is better than nothing i guess. it'll be good to play when the saints and witch doctor and cartoon heroes and all that other crazy stuff again.

ugh, the machine is terrible. in worse condition than the old ITG2 machine. the arcade sucks (unless you like gauntlet legends and tekken 3).

Just saw the arcade last week. Poor, pitiful place.

On a lighter note, Montgomery now has Supernova! With half-decent pads too. I'm going to be commuting quite alot now I believe.

I'm probably gonna be in Monty sometime this weekend, maybe saturday night. Going to Wetumpka with my kayaking class, so I figure I need to drop in and play some SN.

Anybody got Brawl and wanna play online? I'm not that great, but me an' Pikachu can hold our own

Good to know. I dropped by last time I was in town, nice to be able to play MvC2 again too. I'm definitely going to drop in next week after persacon, which is going to suck for me since I'm going to miss almost all of friday. Stupid summer classes.....

yeah, so there's this place called Zoo City in Columbus. like, it's behind ihop on... airport thruway. it's almost hidden.

and it has Extreme. (wow)

It's a decent place for the most part, but you have to watch your surroundings. lots of little kids and clueless parents.

audio is something to be desired actually.

either the up arrow on the 1p side is a little bad or its been that long since i've been on an actual machine. and i STILL can't reach the bar.

I'm convinced that the up arrow is a little borked. I had to change difficulty in the options screen. This is on the 1p side; I have no idea about the 2p side.

...it needs a fan, swear.

Woo... been to long since I checked this thread.

Anyways, Auburn University just opened up its game room, which I just so happen to work in. So far we've got Brawl, RB2, and other mainstream games for free play. We just got two pool tables and an air hockey table too.

Now the good news: A DDR machine is on the way. Don't know what mix or anything like that, but I did more than my share of convincing and persuading of the higher-ups, and I'm really hoping they don't have a change of heart. I plan on taking charge of the maintenance and setup of the machine, so let me know if any of you want to come play, and I'll put it on like $0.25 per play (can't do freeplay... yet).

I'll keep this thread posted with any more news.
