Calling all Orlando FL IIDX Players

But I need everyone's attention I need to gather everyone and meet everyone somewhere around UCF. For example: The Starbucks next to gamestop on Corporate Blvd and Alafaya Trail (434). I need to setup a schedule with you guys and need you guys to help me sign a petition that way the owner knows that this game is guaranteed and 100% sure it will be played.

I guess I'd be willing to drive up there to sign a petition. Would definitely be one of the most pointless trips I've ever made to Orlando, closely followed by the trip I made with my ex a couple of months ago for our anniversary and then she just ended up cheating on me a week later. Make sure it has a spot for "hometown" on it or something to that effect, so the owner sees that people both from orlando and outside of the city are interested.

The possibility of a brand new IIDX machine in town is incentive enough for me to make the trip, but I don't know how that fares with others. Scheduling may be a problem as well. This might be a bad idea, since you could get a lousy turn-out for this petition signing and that wouldn't go over well with the owner of Rocky's.

Damn man, that sucks about what happen to your ex. But anyways, listen I have a bunch of people who play DDR but really at home they play IIDX more than DDR. They only play DDR since ROCKYS only has DDR, while at home they play IIDX like their life. But anyways, if everyone could join up with me and sign a petition then the owner will 100% conviced. I just need people to help me out so that the owner will be 100% conviced to buy this machine. He already talked to the distributor and said they can get distorted or happy sky. So all I need is people who can sign the peititon.

emphasize on distorted! happy sky is old and tired. there are zero reasons to get happy sky over distorted, whereas a distorted machine would more than likely have the new style monitor that konami uses for IIDX.

what it comes down to -- the nexus in boca raton is re-opening very soon, and they will (do) have distorted and pop'n carnival (i believe.) personally, boca is only a bit further of a drive than rocky's. if rocky's were to get happy sky, i'd never make it a point to drive a similar distance to play an older game.

it's not like happy sky is bad, though. it just makes much more sense to get distorted if given the choice.

I'll try to talk the owner into getting a DistorteD machine, I'm sure he knows that Happy Sky is really old now. But it's still not bad getting a HS machine.

I really don't think it matters what machine we get, emuse or not. Its IIDX in Orlando. I believe we would have to drive to the Nexus, if its even still open and thats like a good four hours away. Beggars can't be choosers here.

I doubt this is actually going to happen. The arcade has gone to complete shit, the only working bemani they have right now is Dance Maniax, and the sensors aren't even that great. It was also pretty cool how they replaced Drum Mania with some god awful tennis game that just sits there.

Rocky's used to be the shit, and now well, it just is shit.

Talk to the owner, he is willing to buy the machine. It's happy sky, in case anyone didnt know. Anyways, he just ordered it so the machine should come in within 2 to 3 weeks max.
