Gameworks @ Sawgrass Mills = SoFla's first SuperNova

Went and played it just now for about two hours.

Sound was way too low. Arcade techs blew me off.
I went to the manager, and manager fixed it.

It's still ridiculously expensive. 26 credits a shot. (About 2.60. Insanity.)

Still, that didn't stop me, so some impressions:

-Xephyr is the best song in the game.
-DoLL Challenge is hard
-No. 13 is not fun, and has no IIDX video
-New Des-Row = good
-The generic backgrounds and their characters SUCK.
-The updated non-generic backgrounds are real nice.
-MAX 300 Super Max Me Mix Challenge is BS.
-So is Paranoia -Respect-.

I'll go play it on a Thursday when it's $10 for freeplay.

Also, I find it hilarious how everyone else was playing the same old songs that've been around for the past three years.

Beach Gameland should get theirs soon as soon as Betson pulls their shit together and fixes these mysterious bugs that keep appearing right before they ship their cabinets out .

I'm actually in South Beach for about a week so we went Gameworks just a few hours ago so I could try out Supernova. Luckily we were there during happy hour or whatever so all the games were half off.

I only played once while I was there but I liked the game in general. I tried AA on doubles as my final song but failed within about 25 seconds. Figured it would happen since I hardly ever play DDR anymore but I wanted to try it anyway.

I wish we had a Gameworks in St. Louis, I've been to the one in Chicago and now here and they're both really cool. We have D&B but it's not the same.

Edit: blah I just realized I was at a different gameworks, the one in Miami. I didn't realize there were 2 some what in the same area.

or he could've just gone to nexus a couple days earlier for the same thing and closer...
