Well, Dark... you will be missed.

Last time I played on the HAPPY SKY, it was perfectly fine.
...Maybe people are too used to default 9th style+ timing?

...Or did something happen to the machine since the last time I played it?

Hmm....

yup. its the same exact timing as when it was at nexus because its the same monitor, same machine, same game, same everything. they might've switched a wire or two or something but that wouldn't effect the timing at all.

because when I have to hit the notes an inch above the red bar on the beginning of xepher hyper to get JG's... that's a lag and that still exists on that monitor.

OK thread hi-jack.

It's me Rich, Manager / Tech for BGL.

The timing on IIDX is fixed. Half the people in the thread I see complaining haven't played on it since it's been worked on. I would have seen them, I'm there every day. It was a CPU/heatsink problem that we applied a temporary fix for, and we are pro-actively seeking replacement parts to make sure it doesn't happen again.

From someone who's been playing IIDX about as long as Kaze, I can tell there's been a dramatic chance in the timing the machine had when it came to us, most noticeably based on the lack of cleaning and tech work that was displayed when I opened the bemani PC hardware a few weeks back. All the regulars that play @ BGL have noticed improved scores and Just great count, at least that's what they tell me.

If you're not sure whether you've played on the fixed pc, If I was there I would have more than surely brought it up to you because It's something I'm excited about.

ALSO if it makes anyone feel better, it seems the 1P turntable plate had become loose and partially destroyed one of the optical sensors, leaving only one opto to do the work of two. We've gone ahead and reconstructed the sensor and it hasn't been giving us any problems.

Next......Storm coming up.......gonna be a good time.

We have been steadily (albeit slowly) receiving sensors for the DDR/ITG2 machines and have been installing them as they arrive. I've spent more than 10 hours simply CLEANING the interior of the pads on both games. We're doing whatever we can to make sure our sensors will not be at fault for the tournament.

Next.....although posted we have 2 new additions. Guilty gear XX Slash and Street Fighter III : 3rd Strike. We hope you guys enjoy. The condition we received the kits in was less than spectacular, but I'm working (on my days off) to make sure we can get these games wired and trouble free.

That's all for now, but I should remind anyone who's interested in Pump it Up: NX (with the plasma) to voice your opinion to Tina as it is in consideration for the new Beach Gameland opening soon.

Peace.

Considering that was my exact method of playing on that machine when we had it, I can totally believe it.

oh well...

Hyperbole.

Everyone's opinion is different. People just have to go and get it for itself.

I haven't played the machine recently due to Guilty Gear but it's been fine ever since Rich fixed the heatsink to me so, whatever.

Also guys, he got 3rd Strike working finally, after having to rewire the damn button layouts.

They're going to get a new cabinet for Guilty Gear soon so

I actually went and took the time to write out a nice lengthy post addressing all the issues of the thread along with a bunch of current news.....and apparently it needs to be approved by a moderator that's taking their sweet ass time.

I wonder why it did. Thank you. I knew the timing was much better. I played it last night and it was perfect. Also I didn't have a problem with the left side turntable (that's all I play --LSP!) at all.

...Also, PEACE(^^)v should be in beatmaniaIIDX.

So in response to your reply to DARK about the turntable-

Yeah, so like, Nexus thought to tweak the timing.

...Oh wait.

...So yeah, it's unbelievably dead-on perfect timing now. It is amazing.

Also sup again to these forums... err I mean this thread.

Basically, Dj HaQ, you're an idiot.

Edit: I'm the one who told her that, just so you know.

Anyways, the turntable seems fine SINCE he's fixed it.
