So are there actually any people from the apparently pathetically small NC/SC Bemani community who post here

I can't be the only one

(My usual hangout is Concord, where I play Pump, which ironically isn't actually a Bemani title but you know WHATEVER)

Pumper here too. I'm over in Raleigh. If we only had more bemani games that's not DDR or BM core mix over here.

Ah, I lived there for a while, when I was still going to college. I occasionally have reason to go back there and visit Frankie's, though now I mostly go to Concord, which is about half as long a drive. From Cola to where I am, you pretty much just drive north on I-77 for an hour or so, so it's really easy. I wish I still lived there :<

Yes, they do still have Pump. It was in poor condition for a long time, but they did a good job of fixing it up and upgrading it. I believe the version is Prex 3. Still $1 per game. Last I heard, the manager at the arcade there was trying to pull some strings with their arcade distributor to get an IIDX machine in there. No solid news on that, though.

It's a Zero now (they got it really quick after it came out, even; they had it way before Dave & Buster's), and in great condition. I heard the same thing about a IIDX machine; it'd be damn cool if they could get one.

Wilmington/Raleigh person over here. Wilmington has 2 Pump machines and 2 DDR Extreme machines: Raleigh has 3 or 4 DDR Extreme machines and one Pump Zero at the northern part of town.

I still wish the ITG machine wasn't taken from Crabtree's Cyberstation though...

That post had nothing to do with either of the Carolinas, but ok.

Greenville, NC, here. One DDR Extreme machine in a garage that I part-own. That's about it. I mostly hang out in Rocky Mount at Putters (ITG2, DDREX).. or in Wilmington at the Boardwalk Arcade (PIU:EX2). You might occassionally find me in Raleigh, but only if I'm visiting Lara and Dennis at Sheetz. O:-)

*EDIT: From what I hear, Adventure Landing (in Raleigh, NC) now has DDR: SuperNOVA? Don't quote me on that, though.
