Heh, I was in Raleigh just yesterday, actually. My friend had a birthday, so we went up there to play Supernova; I was very disappointed. If you were at AL yesterday, I was the guy who kept playing doubles and spazzed out when the machine wouldn't take one of my dollar bills.

Can't say that I was there. The dollar bill slot's wiggin' out now?

I'm at AL to play prob. once a week or so now, usually at 9 am on a random weekday. I went to play some 4th Solo at Bullwinkle's today, and it was much more fun.

Why hasn't Supernova lived up to its name and exploded already?

*sigh*

It was just one particular dollar bill of mine. I didn't have any other cash, and I only had three quarters, then I accidentally bumped into the P1 start button and the timer on the mode select ran out just before someone was about to give me a quarter and I had to play singles and I played PSM expert and failed at like the very end because I think the life difficulty on that machine is set high

lol. I'm giving my knees rest for about a week, but it's fairly fun. If the revision gets in, hopefully it will be somewhat better than it is currently.

PSM on SuperNOVA is probably way off-sync (early).

I thought there was something borked about it. Ugh... Yeah, DDR hurts my knees a lot, but Pump doesn't. I forgot how much DDR hurt before I played it again, it's been months D:

It's all about the wider range of motion. It's hard going back to 4 arrows from 5.

So, is Supernova worth it? How much does it cost to play a set and how many songs at AL?

Honestly I forget how many songs in a set. Four, I think, and it was $1/play. Zuma Fun Center (formerly Celebration Station), in Pineville, is getting a Supernova machine next weekend, surprisingly; no idea how much it'll cost to play, but they tend to be retarded there. Their MAX2 was $1/3 songs until just a couple months ago.

As for whether Supernova is worth it... I went all the way to Raleigh because it was my friend's birthday, and it was like a three-hour drive. Definitely not worth it to play Supernova, at all. Going to the Frankie's there and playing Pump Zero was what made the trip for me, even though there are closer Zero machines ^^; Anyway, since Zuma is like 10 minutes away and I have a friend who works there, I'll get to play it for free pretty much. I wouldn't bother otherwise, since there's a Chuck E Cheese with an Exceed 2 very close by, and they only charge a quarter for it. I'm the only one who plays on that machine, though.

Im from Roxboro, North Carolina. We have one DDRE2 Machine here. You either have to wait forever, or chase the little snots (who can't even really play) away from the thing jsut to get in some good arcade time. I wonder why I waited so long to post here .

Fayetteville, NC Pumper here. Well, I used to be before every one of our arcades was shut down.

Nowadays I try to make it to Wilmington, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC when I want to play. As far as Bemani goes, I don't get much of it as there are no IIDX machines within 500 miles. I stopped playing DDR long ago.

Yeah, I hate how there's no arcades when I visit home from school. (There's none in durham, either. )

It sucks that I didn't want to play pump until after they all disappeared.

I wonder where the Pump machine went anyway?

Yeah, I've been to Durham plenty of times. It's pretty well known that both of our towns are the worst in the state for rhythm-action, uh, action.

I think there is still a shitty PIU machine a few miles away from me, but I've not been there for over a year and last time I visited they were closed, and it was on a Saturday, so things don't look good for me.
