Just curious, how did you guys managed to snag it? More importantly, since you guys used to be running DistorteD, was it as simple as swapping the HDD or did you need new hardware to run it?

I see. Looks like you got yourself a reliable source for that thing though. So I bet the new BemaniPC runs on dual cores and SATA, right, or was it as simple as upgrading existing components and adding stuff like a SATA controller card to the mobo?

I wasn't the tech that installed it and wasn't there when it was. So I'm not sure of the details.

I don't know if I want to make a 1.5 hour drive(depending on traffic), maybe sometime this Summer I'll drop by Nexus Game Center. Wish you guys had Tekken 6 & DJMAX Technika.

Definitely keep note on this place though, not enough good places to hang out around here in Miami for me.

Edit: @ DMW7243
I wish. Now I'm curious, do they get games by demand or what? If they did have Tekken 6(Blood Rebellion that is), I'll be there everyday the least an hour or so just playing that alone.

I got back from The Nexus about an hour ago, here's my impressions:

- It's really fucking small and cramped, good luck getting around if it's crowded
- The EMPRESS still has all the DD artwork and it's pretty worn out - but it plays fine (no fancy new turntables though)
- BlazBlue is fucking awesome
- Guitar Hero Arcade is the shittiest arcade music game ever. 1 credit (75 cents at The Nexus) for one fucking song, but some songs are premium songs that cost 2 or 3 credits.

I didn't check out the PC section (maybe tomorrow if we feel like it) but overall I enjoyed it and I'd come back a lot more often if it wasn't so far away. It doesn't compare to the late TGA but then again what does?

Also frozen Bawls is pretty much the greatest idea ever

Dayum, one song for 75 cents? How was the guitar? I imagine they would've made the guitars pretty strong so all the little 8-13 year olds don't break it. >_>

The guitar worked fine, but the strap was so twisted up I and I was too lazy to untwist it so I had to hold it by myself

Also, no whammy bar

Jeff Paine, how much did it cost to play beatmaniaIIDX16 EMPRESS(per song, etc)? Never played beatmania before, it will soon be my very first.
