TILTs have a bad reputation for not maintaining their arcade machines. Trouble is I haven't been to ANY arcades in Gainesville (drive's too long to be worth it). And there certainly aren't any in dust-bowl Alachua, where the gas prices are always 25 cents higher.

Im gonna talk to Deon, the manager this week and have him let me install the R21 patch, that should get it a bit more popular soon enough. I got the patch with me so all I need to do is have it opened. But I find myself there many days out of the week now, usually when no one is there, so when the patch is done.... I will be on it all day after work.

I can't remember who the winner was (in this case I'll refer to him as the orange shirt guy). However, after a REALLY close match (featuring the last song being a 7-footer heavy), it so happened that the Extra Stage was unlocked. So we had an encore; the top two finishers would play TLOM reverse 1.5x. The winner of the tournament bailed midway, but the second-place finisher was able to clear the song. He should have been the true winner.
No offense to the orange shirt guy, anyway, he deserved the trophy after all of the hard work.
I also saw some guy clear PSMO with over a 500 combo. And anybody who's seen me play there, I'm the guy who played this in sequence: Sakura, R&P and DDR (the song). I suck.

Alex is better at faster, harder stuff, and Chris, aka Cboz, aka Orange Shirt guy, has better overall timing. I was not the only person to call his victory long before the tournament started.
EDIT: The final song was www.blondegirl, Chris got 3 greats, Alex got 5. However, Chris also beat someone named Ross by 1 great on a song that I've since forgotten.
Also, that tournament was gimped only because the University didn't expect any interest in it. Chris and I, among others, are hoping to get something much bigger off the ground. More info in the not-so-distant future, I hope.

>_> Definitly could use an update, eh?
Now I'm going to have to get a USB key and a ride just so I can play my songs (as well as Hiryuu's Impossible Song III) at an arcade. :P

...well, Standard and Heavy, yes. Light could be possible and Beginner is definitley possible.
It'd just be funny to see people's expressions if I chose that. :P

I turn on Autoplay in Stepmania and play it on Heavy.

Xenon
Rhythm & Police
So Deep
Sync (oni)
Cartoon Heroes
Tears (barely)
Healing Vision (Angelic Mix)
Tsugaru
Sakura
Twilight Zone
Burning Heat!
ORION .78 (Civ mix)
AFRONOVA
Paranoia Survivor (crapped out on the death runs because the pads were slippery)
BE LOVIN'
Sexy Planet (NSM Mix)
Did quite well when I started getting opponents. My highlight had to be So Deep and its 200 combo.
Edit: Anybody know when the next tournament in the Reitz is going to start?

Ok, I was at the Reitz again yesterday. Played a few more rounds of DDR, including Frozen Ray and Drop Out. Doubles mode on the game is practically impossible due to the down arrow on the right side sticking. If we're having a tournament, they have to do something about that.
Passed Bag standard 1x.
