I play doubles no-bar too. I stopped for a while because the pads were being unkind (mostly on songs where Ross got low scores, e.g. Baila Baila).
Edit: Are we going to go forward with this "UF DDR Club" thing? If so, we need some way to contact each other, i.e. a forum. I think the only UF DDR Club members who come on here are me, Chicken, and FLCL. Ross, Cboz, Jordan, Alex, and a bunch of other people are out of contact.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | The Oaks Mall's ITG2 cab seems to be up and working again. I hate the location, and the pads are slippery, but it's working.
The left pad is good (but the bar is horrible), and the right sucks. R16, memory slots work. | |

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Any chance of it being r21?
I remember heading there not too long ago and seeing it was up and running. Apparently it was just then working as there was only one other person on there for high scores (I managed to get marathon scores). However last time I went there the speakers were off or not working...

I talked to the manager a while ago, and he told me that it would have to be approved by the corporate offices.
I don't know what the DDR/ITG community is like these days. I am just starting to get back into it after a couple years of not playing. So I would like to know who's out there still playing regularly.
I also am asking to start a petition about getting the machine upgraded to R23 if possible. I'm no good at starting something like this, so I would like to have some of you guys to help put this together. I really think it could be a possibility as it is a very simple, and pretty much free upgrade. I would also recommend writing corporate directly. Their address is corporate@tilt.com.
What do you guys think? I'm also heading over to DDRFreaks to see who else I can get in on this.

Marketplace Rating: 2 | Well even then R16 is pretty lame. I just don't get after almost 4 years they haven't upgraded it. I mean seriously, it would make it worth playing there again.
But on the bright side, I've heard that the new bowling center, Splitz, is getting a DDR machine in. But it was said back in March that they had it ordered, and as of last week it still isn't there. Does anyone know anything about that? I have been dying to see what it's like to play that and have a beer at the same time. Cboz mentioned on DDRfreak that the manager said something about GH, but it's not like I care about that at all, but some of you folks may be interested in that.
And one last thing, is there even one IIDX player in the Gainesville area? I've been playing on and off for the past few years, and it's gotten so boring because there's no one to motivate me to play any more, nor the fact that 99.9% of the people I know have never heard of it.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I play IIDX! Um... on an emulator, though, but I can pass Mei[h] and (almost) rainbow rainbow[h].
Once I get into college I'm going to rally to stick an ITG R21 machine in the Reitz Union arcade - I'd raise the money, of course. I think we need something to replace the tired specimen that is the DDR SuperNOVA cab.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | So I played at Tilt at Oaks Mall the other day since one of you mentioned the right pad is doing alright.
Liar.
I failed Rom-eo & Juli8 on the right pad, which I can easily SDE. Everything from a pad great to a miss on multiple arrows. Moved to the left pad and failed July and Infection, both of which could easily be a tri-star on a decent pad. Waste of money.
That machine is past the point of caring for me. I can assure you they do not give a shit about upgrading it.
Uh, I don't touch IIDX anymore but I play Pop'n on and off, so right now I can only really do 34s/35s. I don't have a IIDX ASC and I hate the feel of the KOC. Maybe I'll buy an ASC sometime later on...
The Reitz has an okay machine, probably good enough for anyone who cares about DDR anymore. I didn't have a problem full comboing felm or psmo on it so I don't think it's that bad. IIRC they don't actually own the machine, so the company they rent it from has all the power over upgrading/replacing it and the manager there doesn't seem to care.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I'm getting really good at doubles. I almost full-comboed MAX300 on Heavy/Expert, w/e the fuck it's called now. Pretty soon I should be able to AA it both on one pad and two. In fact, I might even be in striking distance of FLCL's scores.
Hyeah. No.
Maybe Ross's old scores.
But I am improving, hopefully I'll get good enough in time for Storm III. Those pads are really in poor condition, though. They're not as bad as the mall pads, but I've had my fair share of pad misses on both sides (especially 2P), which makes even a friendly match against someone else unpleasant.
Whether it's possible for the arcade to do anything about it or not, the machine in whole needs to be either fixed or replaced. Alex is trying to get an ITG2 r21. Maybe he wouldn't object to letting other players use it. Assuming he's not pissed off at all of us already for taunting him.
Edit: Also, why am I the only one with a score on Flow Oni Doubles? Is the song really that intimidating?
