Ok guys, being from NC (and living there), here are the arcades in or right around Raleigh.

Ro's Ice Cream Parlor and Arcade- In Garner, ITG2 Dedicab with r16. $.75 for 4 songs.

Adventure Landing- Raleigh, SuperNova and Extreme, although the pads on the extreme suck. $1 ONLY (no tokens allowed) for 4 songs on SuperNova. Extreme is .75 for 1 song becuase you will fail.

BattleZone- North Raleigh, Extreme, decent pads. Little Kids. .50 for 3 songs.

Frankies- Durham/Raleigh border. PIU Zero, good pads from the last time I was there. $1 for standard pump.

Buffaloe Lanes- Cary, Exceed 1. They did have a Zero, but ????downgraded???? why I don't know. .75 for standard pump.

Putt-Putt/Funwerks- Cary, Extreme. Good pads, HurtPiggyPig works there, so they actually ARE taken care of. $1 for 4, plus little kids sometimes.

So yeah, plenty of places to go in NC for Dance Games.

WTF? The Chuck-E-Cheese at Pineville has a KOF XI machine? Why the heck would CeE want a KOF machine? Well I hope it's true although CeC is the last place I want to go to play KOF XI.

aren't all games at chuck e cheese only 1 token? And aren't their tokens less than 25 cents a peice? If so how many songs do you get, and do older kids hang out there?

I thought of the same exact thing when I saw PIU machines in the commercials. I asked my sister if the one closest to us has it and she still hasn't given me a definite answer.

Yeah, all the games are one token, and tokens are 25 cents max. If you buy $30 worth at once, it comes out to 20 cents a token. There's definitely a KOF something at the CEC in Pineville, and I'm pretty sure it's an XI; haven't been there lately to check, because I can afford to go to D&B more often. Stage break is on on their Exceed 2, which sucks, but hey.

I'm an NC player, though rather than Raleigh like a lot of you I reside in Asheville.. where I get the wonderful diverse machine choices of a horrible(pads) DDR Extreme machine at a movie theatre with all songs unlocked, a DDR Extreme machine at the Pizza and Brewery(with no unlocks performed and unpredictable pad conditions) or a Pump It Up: Exceed machine at my local Fun Depot. Some day Asheville will actually have a real dance machine in it.. but until that day comes I continue to abuse my Cobalt Flux.

Oh, and if anyone's curious, the name I usually input in a machine's "Jin!"

Exceed is awesome, it has the banned songs on it. I'd rather have it than an X2, tho' Zero is still better.

Hm, I'm an Asheville native, though currently living in Raleigh. It's a shame the Asheville Time Out closed down some time ago. When did Fun Depot upgrade to Exceed? Last I was there they were still Prex 3's.

Also, how often do you go play? I might've seen you if you were there when Time Out was still around.

Whoops. Yeah, that was a slip up. I was told they were Exceeds, but nah, they're still Prex 3. As far as going to Fun Depot to play, not all that often.. once a month on a Saturday. When Time Out was still in existance and didn't crash and burn, I went there pretty much every Saturday, occasionally on a thursday or friday as well. If you need a recap, I had/have blonde hair with black visible roots that goes down to my shoulder. Not a whole lot of information, but the most definite trait that I doubt many others had.

Putters (Putt-Putt Indoor Mini-Golf and Games) of Rocky Mount, NC has an R21 ITG2 machine. Though it's not a dedicab, it's in great working condition (as Robert keeps it in good condition) and I've been playing custom songs for a few weeks now.

Also, all of you should come to the Rocky Mount 7 tournament. :P

Hm, that's cool. How often do you guys play, and around how many play on average?

And there's a Pump Zero there, too?
