SC Bemani Location Update

Hi guys,

I wanted to update the SC thread on a location for yall SC dance gamers.

Frankies Fun Park in Columbia still has DDR SuperNova and Pump it Up NX. All machines are US Localized. I don't remember if DDRSN has memory slots.

I was there 2 months ago and I played PIU. Both machines are in good condition. The 1P side of DDR is a liddle insensitive but I'm a PIU player so I just tried out the DDR machine for nostalgia (i started on DDR).

Both machines are $1.00 and both are fully unlocked and have the volumes adjusted to where they aren't too quiet to play (which is nice).

I asked the manager on duty about whether they would be updating Pump to another version of NX or if they would be getting a IIDX or, sweet mother of gawd, a DJMax Technika but he basically gave me a go to hell look; so who knows.

Frankies uses a card system, google the location and happy dancing!

I think any prospect of Frankie's getting anything other than a regular dancing game like DDR / PIU is out the window. It took a massive online petition submitted to both the Frankie's management and their distributor, Brady Games, just to get their first PIU machine in there.

I've gone to Brady again on multiple occasions since I discovered the splendor of IIDX, but I've been given a definitive "no" from both sides, this time. Upper-management doesn't want any more music games than what they have already because they "attract the wrong crowd" (?). They apparently had a bad experience with an old Drum Mania machine waaay back in the day.

If anything changes though, this forum will be the first to hear of it.. pretty much live across the street from the place.
