Cool Who wants to be a Bowl-manifest hero?

Here's the deal. As many of you all know, it has been announced that DM Ashura will be performing at Bowl-manifest. However, there is a slight problem: TGA hasn't arranged any kind of transportation to arrange this. I don't have a car, he probably won't get to use his car, and no one else I've talked to will have the money/resources to take us there.

So, in order to rectify this problem, I call upon any willing members of the SE BMS community (preferable in the GA/FL area, but mostly out of convenience to whomever decides to do this, but anyone can help if they don't mind) to give DM Ashura (and possibly me and two others) a ride to and from TGA. We all have money to cover any gas/lodging/etc costs, but we just need someone in a similar position but with motorized wheels.

Since we have 4 people in total in need of a ride (DM, Me, two others) and unless you have a large car/van, there might be two drivers needed. Sad to say that whomever does decide to provide rides will likely not receive any monetary or item reward, only the gratitute of the passengers and the participants of Bowl-manifest. If you are interested, post here or AIM/PM me for more details. I will post more developments in this thread as they occur.

If worse comes to worse, couldn't you guys take a bus up there?
That's what I'm having to do, and I got someone who's willing to offer rides from the bus terminal in MA that I'm arriving at to TGA and back.

I didn't realise you guys don' thave an actual car to travel in. o_O

Hmmm... I hadn't have considered that possibility. I guess Greyhound does go all the way up there? I'll check them out, thanks.

And we are all just poor college students. :P

You're just preaching to the choir there. I, myself, am a poor college student going up there. (I presume most of us are that are going.)

Greyhound does not go all of the way up to the Winchendon area. The two closest places I've seen are Greenfield, MA and Boston, MA.

Like I said, I've made an agreement with BGS, who is offering me transportation from the bus terminal to Winchendon, and back to the terminal, but I'm giving him gas money for it. So you might want to enquire with people near Boston (more than likely) for rides from the buses up there.

Also, my bus ticket is quoted around 172$ with any applicable fees, and that's for advance purchase.

I just talked to Ashura, it's about 146$ for round trip for you guys if you take the one in Atlanta on July 5th.

If we buy the bus passes a week in advance the prices are almost halved, so I think that's what I'll do.

And curse you for taking my room spot.

Taking your room spot? o_O

From what I was told, it was Ashura's BF that was supposed to be going. :P

Well, it was him, and two other guys initially. By my guess, one's his BF and the other is another friend whom I also know, and he told me that you were going to share a 4-person room with them.

Anyway, I guess it's not a big deal at the moment and we can still work it out, since I might be going with xybur.
