It's not so much him that's annoying as much as it is the damn crowd. Nothing makes you angrier than when you're struggling to pass FAXX than when they're trying to jeer you off the stage. As a standard, I have both the Announcer and Crowd turned off in my CS's.

Maybe it's cause I haven't been playing as long as other people, but I think the announcer's funny. :P
So's the early one. My sister and I thought for the longest time he said "Oh no, combos suck!" But no...
Never heard the girl, though. Wonder what she sounds like...
The crowd and many forms of booing are... somewhat annoying. I kinda like 'em, though... when you don't have a real crowd yelling random stuff at you. Just cause all the sounds make playing by yourself or with quiet people less boring. Or cause I'm weird. :P You be the judge.

I like the Max -> Supernova announcer a lot. Although he is getting a bit old, I still think he's the best yet. He's actually funny too. They just need to update what he says.
The 1st -> 5th mix announcer sounded so weird and dorky. It reminded me of a high pitched Shrek voice. The Solo announcer could barely speak english and was annoying. | |

The MAX announcer, and the 4th Mixish announcer are ok. I can't stand the Ultramix announcers though. Turned them off even faster than I sold the game. | |

If they dont wanna remplace him just they need to make more dialogs for him.
I also liked the announcer from the 1rst to 5th mixes.
The announcer of Extramix/solo mixes its really annoying for example when you close to lose.
Also sometimes she scares me whit her stupid "WOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Ultramixes announcers area really different from the PS series.Maybe thats why i dont like them.
Talking about announcers, can anyone know the names of the announcers from the ddr 1-5 mixes and the girl from solo/extramix ?
