Lol, in the Gameplay tips near the end, it actually recommends using speed mods and citing their possible advantages.

I started in 2000 on a Pump the Premiere 2. The codes for speed mods weren't posted on the machine, so no, no I didn't. Thank you.

And when I finally discovered a DDR cab (3rd Mix), I started right up on Heavy, and STILL didn't know speed mods existed until some dude held down the start button and all of those pretty options came up on a later version, Extreme. My first CS Style that I actually bought and didn't just play over at a friend's house was Ultramix.

Wow, my story had a nice gap. I moved to Europe a few months after I got to play on that 3rd Mix machine a few times (yay Air Force), and the next time I played DDR at all was on an Extreme machine in Aviano, Italy at the Air Force Base there. I played for another 4 months or so bouncing between standard/heavy songs before anyone held down the button (CS styles weren't available on Base for quite a while, and no one cared enough to look up info on the game online).

Hey Vicenza (one of the Army bases there) didn't have shit as far as bemanis go.

And hell yes chair force, I'm doing AFROTC when I start going back to school this fall. Military is pretty much one of the only guaranteed jobs anymore, and being an officer pays. Plus express scholarship whoo.

I know the kind you're talking about, the ROTC Nazis. I did JROTC for a few years of high school, and didn't have a problem then so I don't think I'll have any trouble now.

I did JROTC on a military base in Europe, not in a public school where kids are either there for one of three or so reasons:

1.) They like the military and want to learn more about it/careers available in the military (why I took it).
2.) They're fatasses who wanted a PE credit without having to take PE.
3.) They were ordered by a judge to take the class as part of a delinquency record (getting busted with drugs, fighting, public intoxication, etc) to stay out of juvenile.
