Default Anyone ever buy one of these pads?

I have been thinking about getting a new pad lately. Bottom line is I want a metal pad that has an arcade feel. The bar does not have to be perfect or anything-much like my TX2000 I have lived with the bad bar.

I am not moving on because my Dance pad is broke I am just searching for my options right now on purchasing a new pad.

Along my searching I did find a pad that caught my eye. the Energy Dance pad...
(In Stock Now!) Dance Dance Revolution DDR Energy Arcade Metal Dance Pad with Recessed Buttons and Handle Bar for PS/ PS2 - Xbox - PC/Mac
I was wondering if anyone has bought one?

I am interested in this pad because the arrows are recessed like arcade dance pads. I am also curious about the censors that are in the pad. If they are similar to the TX series that fine with me because my pad works flawlessly after taking time to mod it.

I am also taking other suggestions. But the pad NEEDS to have a bar (So no Cobalt Flux people), and has to be under $400. I also considering waiting for DJ Dao to come out with their pads before making a final decision (which is hopefully soon).

I really think you should wait for the DJ Dao pads but we probably won't see that for a very long time.

(In Stock Now!) Dance Dance Revolution DDR Champion Arcade Metal Dance Pad with Handle Bar for PS/PS2

That one ive had for about two years, my friend use to ddr a lot and when he quit he gave me the pad. Im guessing its just a variation of the one you linked. All in all its an okay pad. The bar sucks and will most likely break off unless you are very careful with it. The pad itself is very large (height wise) which i guess is more like the arcade, but idk it feels weird to me. The pads arrows cracked about a month after use, no biggy it still worked and still worked fine.

6/10 its reliable, it works. but there are definitely better ones out there.
Save yourself some money and just go without a bar. most bars that come with ddr pads suck, better just to use a chair or couch or whatever you can find.

I own that pad. Its the exact same as a TX2000 Dance pad.

Well the one you linked just looks like a few upgrades from it. A little more well built, but not by much.

I really am just looking for something with an arcade look/feel. This is the only one I could find in my price range that looks near what I am looking for.

-Brackets
-recession
-Bar?
Thats what is different from mine, and unlike mine this one has supports for the bar, which Mine SHOULD have had in the first place (mine was the first line rolled out of the pad so you cant add the supports).

On ebay its listed for $200 from a store, so maybe I will get it. I wont get it for a while keep in mind but I was just checking to see if anyone had an experience with this pad that would factor into a purchase or a pass.
