Default Anyone know a place where you can buy a metal DDR bar?

Hi!

I recently ordered an arcade modded flux but sadly they don't come with bars and I can't really afford the doubles package right now, so does anyone know a place where you can buy the bar by itself? All I can find are packaged bars which is annoying! I managed to find the little cushion pretty cheap but the bar itself is giving me a lot of grief.

And if anybody has any alternatives to the bar that could also be great!

Thanks!

Well I was looking up some places that sells DDR mats With Bars
and what I came up with is you have to buy there Mat, and the Bar comes with, i couldnt find a website that sold them seprate, even though i only looked for about 5 mins =P. If anything just Ghetto it out, I use a chair from a Dodge Van Lamo And The Metal Like Sticks to the ground so it Doesnt move =P

Happy Bar Hunting

use a chair or couch

or get some metal piping and some wood and build a base for your flux with a bar on the back

you're not going to be able to buy a usable bar by itself

i'd also like to point out that the doubles bar just connects the two pads for doubles play with arcade dimensions. it has nothing to do with the bar you lean on, so that wouldn't have helped anyway.

If you look hard enough, the internet can find it for you. Tried eBay and the like?

No, he's right. You can't buy a bar for a DDR pad at all on the internet. THe best you can do is make one yourself. (there's a tut somewhere)

Ohh. Well, never mind then, eheh. I don't see how a bar helps, though.

Ever played Pluto Relinquished Oni and felt it to be impossible for a rookie to pass it without a bar? IT helps you. Paranoia Hades, try it in Oni and have fun without a bar. :P
What did you think buying a bar would do? You can't drill holes in your pad(s) to perfectly connect them to the pad. Either get pads with bars on them already if you want a bar so much or stick it easy.

I have trouble on crossovers without a bar. ^^; Then again, this dance pad doesn't have a bar. Urgh, makes me want to try those darn arcades and see what the big fuss is about.

^^; That does sound neat indeed! 'Cept like I said, where I am doesn't have any huge wonderful jam-packed arcades, and Hottest Party 1-2 don't have anything above 10 footers. xD;
