Default Artist Discussion

Since we had one in Beatmania, we should have one here. The guys here are right, all these seperate threads of artists are getting out of hand.
Well, discuss anything about DDR music producers/artists here.

Well, for me, TaQ should come back to DDR. At least one more mix before ending his DDR career.
The only good songs from Bambee are Bumblebee and Cowgirl.

How can TaQ end his DDR career if he never had one?

Apparently, Vanity Angel is a collaberation of TaQ and Naoki, which is probably the only song that TaQ have contributed in a non-IIDX song in DDR.

I'm going to have to find whoever started that rumor and shove a stick of dynamite up his ass.

Ok, why the fuck is it that almost ALL of the non-DDR staff members (Akira Yamaoka, for example) who make DDR songs usually debut in CS? Hell, the last time I checked, La Senorita and Silent Hill, which are DDR Originals --thank you, Thomas Howard Lichtenstein --are the ONLY DDR songs made by a non-DDR staff member that 1st debuted in a DDR AC.

Susan Z and Indra J are just the names of the vocalists that cover the songs used in Karaoke Revolution. nc is Hiroyoshi Kato, whom I believe has been a new artist since STR!KE/EX2.

Akira Yamaoka is an in-house artist for bemani, but most of his contributions go to beatmania IIDX. If DDR had released more machines between the EXTREME-SuperNOVA time period, his CS stuff would probably have been released on a machine first. Also, I believe La Senorita and Silent Hill are classified as Konami Originals. And Thomas Howard has done a few other songs for beatmania IIDX, so I guess he would also qualify as an in-house artist.

TaQ's real name is Taku Sakakibara. If you search taq on wikipedia, you'll find a article on him. You just asked for the name, but wikipedia helps answer it.

Kinda correct. nc actually stands for noisycroak, a Japanese music firm, so it wouldn't surprise me if Hiroyoshi is an artist there.

Well, on the STR!KE New Song information page, it has Genie In A Bottle, Seduction and Tomorrow listen under only his name, so this is an assumption. I guess I should have pointed that out.
