if I'm playing itg I find that rasberry water does the job rather than regular water... is there any science behind that?

I usually drink Gatorade... it hydrates you and gives you energy. I also drink water but it only hydrates you.

I heard energy drinks are really bad for you because although they do give you energy, you're really only getting a burst of caffeine, which will bring you up, but then crashing down.

Soda is the worst... I wouldn't drink it while playing.

Actually, it depends on what kind of solid.

Jamba has a mix of fruits, juice, and sometimes frozen yogurt with ice. So it has certain things that are easily digested by the body. It gives you more energy so you don't get tired as quickly.

Another good thing to keep with you would be the Naked fruit juice bottles. God, I love the Chocolate Karma ones. .

But both Jamba AND the juice bottles tend to make you a little thirsty even though they keep your energy up, so you should probably keep at least some water with you.

Water, never had anything else. Most soda pops disgusts me, and I can only have a few sips before gagging. I find anything sweet very dehydrating, and it makes my mouth way dryer than it was before.
One thing I do sometimes, though, is chew gum while playing. It's dangerous, but the mint or whatever cools me down.

Wouldn't all that stuff (even though it's blended) still be kinda thick? I mean, energy is kinda redundant if you end up puking it all back up.

For me, it's Gatorade, Powerade and something Asians call as Extra Joss

it's concentrated powder that you mix with water, instant energy drink

this stuff makes me go around 10 footers in a row

Energy Drinks are terrible for your body, I don't understand how people can drink them. I shouldn't judge though, it's taken me a while to quit drinking so much soda.

I drink the normal stuff, Water, Red Bull, Monster, Rockstar, Lemonade. Red Bull piyt you into motion, but you should not play for over 2 hours, because then you will suddnly collapse, and someone will need to help bring you home, because it happened to me.

Water when I'm at the arcade. (I have no choice)
Apple/Orange Juice, or Soda Pop (preferrably Cola) when I'm at home. (Water sometimes)

Ah heck, I just drink what's there.

I just drink normal water, but after I play. I can't have too many things with me at an arcade, or else I start to forget things.

If possible, I try to bring a sports drink, such as Gatorade, with me into an arcade. Otherwise, I just drink water.

I just trust water. I drink anywhere from 20 ounces of water to 40 ounces when I play at home, depending on how long I play (anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes).
