Default Broken Afterburner arrow

So I have a Red Octane Afterburner metal pad, and my right arrow just broke about a week ago.
I think on a different site, someone said if you write to Red Octane saying your arrow broke, they will send you free ones. Can anyone confirm this? I don't want to pay 15 bucks for a new arrow.

Yeah, I emailed them last night. Hopefully I'll get a response soon.

Man, red octane sucks for making flimsy-ass arrows.

I think there is a tutorial around here somewhere to strengthen the arrows with sheet metal...

Ive never had a single problem with mine, after I fixed the start button

Some sites such as play-asia has replacement arrows that you can buy:
http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-j7a-50-19-49-...ion+arrow.html

Not sure if any's compatible with your afterburner pad. My right arrow pad cracked, and I've ignored it so far (I just taped it up). I know the pads are pricey ($10), but I don't know of any other places to buy separate arrow pads.

I'm gonna guess they aren't compatable with it. Another way for red octane to make more money, it's just common sence.
And the arrows are about 20 shipped. Which is pretty gay.

Ordering more arrows for that pad is just throwing good money after bad. My sister got one of them (before checking any reviews, of course), and all the arrows were broken within a month. And then after that came the broken wiring (some spliced wires from old headphones and some duct tape fixed that pretty well).

But really - just save up and get a Cobalt Flux. I've had it for about three and a half years now, and aside from the occasional screw tightening, it's been perfect.

I cobalt flux would be nice, but it's not a big priority right now. I'm at the arcade every weekend for a good 7 or 8 hours, so that feeds my didder craving. I just bought the afterburner to practice at home.
