Unhappy Broken Red Octane Afterburner

yeasterday I went to my basement to play some good ol DDR and my red octane after burner crapped out on me. I turned my PS2 on and put Extreme 2 in and none of the buttons were working except the up arrow and the control box. I've had it for almost 2 years so I'm pretty sure its out of its warranty by now so I figured I'd just fix is myself but I have no idea where to start. PLEASE HELP ME!!! Just give me some ideas on what might be wrong with it and how I can fix it.

Thanks!

This happened to my og red octane back in the day, except it didn't last quite as long. I couldn't figure out how to disassemble it and I sure as hell wasn't going to pay shipping on it back to RO, so I just said fuck it and played arcade only.

It's possible that the contacts are broken/torn, since IIRC they simply used copper sheets as contacts. Try to break it open and let us know what you find out.

Can you please stop making 2398423423 topics and reposts?

BTW, I accidentally deleted one of your many reposts trying to merge, so if a user posted tips, I apologize.
