Later when MAX2 AC caught my interest at the mall, the first song I played after overcoming my fear of the crowds was "The Whistle Song" on light. I think I passed it barely if I remember correctly...

Can't remember the first song I played, because I was vaguely aware of playing the game (some time in 2001).

When I first played it again, getting into DDR, my first song was HVAM. That damn song lasted throughout my whole "DDR" experience:

was my first Std song.
Was my first Cata passed.
Was my first Cata AA.

The Legend of MAX. My friend told me it was the "easiest song on all of DDR." This was when Extreme had been out for about a year.

Never Gonna Make on Heavy from DDR 4th Mix.

I didn't pass it the first time, but past it each time afterwards.

I had a lot of practice playing DDR on my hands with the japanese GBC DDR games lol

Hand practice does translate into Foot practice very easily. At least the mindset is in the right place, for me anyway.

Basically, i skipped Light and Standard play due to the GBC games lol

XDDD YES. Yes. I was extremely stupid in the ways of DDR back then. Plus, I thought the hard songs were all hidden for special stages LMAO.

I was a big techno/trance fan back then, still am, so the harshness didn't phase me at all, it made me eager to play it. XD
