Card Reader on US SN2

Okay, basically an inversal of the other thread, but with a theoretical solution to our e-Amusement issues:

Theoretically, could you plug a SN2 machine to a internet connection, and then take some e-Amuse card readers and plug them in, with it working?

Well, in case it (connecting the card readers) worked, there isn't any US e-Amuse server for the game to connect to... =/

There actually is a US SN2 server. The SN2 machine at Konami's US office in El Segundo, CA is hooked up to it. Currently, it isn't doing anything, and the machine is receiving no unlocks whatsoever. But the machine is displaying the word "Online" at the bottom of the screen, and the card reader mechanism is present.

no, there isn't a US server. The one at konami's office is almost certainly the one from the location tests that connected to the JP server, which likely will not recognize that machine as being valid and thus, will not give it unlocks.

Toph is right, each arcade has to register with the main Japanese eAmuse server (which also costs a monthly fee IIRC) in order for the server to even accept it.

It's impossible to have eAmuse cards/card readers work in America :/

The only places other then Japan to use it are like China/Korea/Singapore and that's it :/
