Total Tokens: 490.48 Donate Tokens | CF ordered finally. :) Placed my order for a Cobalt Flux today. Hopefully my fold up diaper-dance-pad will last til it gets here. It's already having issues with steps.
I mean really. 100+ "perfect"s, 17 Great's, and one flippin "Boo"?
I think I will celebrate the arriaval and successful testing of the CF pad by putting the diaper pad through a friggin' shredder.

Total Tokens: 1,526.59 Donate Tokens | lol, my birthday is July 24. I'm too late, though. My mom ordered the mat without telling me and with clear and smooth arcade mod rather than black and textured.. :/
I had originally wanted clear and smooth but then I decided I wanted to try to emulate the design in this picture, because it's just the coolest looking mat I've ever seen:
I told her to wait so I could show her which options to choose, but she was worried it wouldn't get her in time. I still doubt it will with the shipping delays they've had lately. Probably alot of orders waiting. Oh well... When I get some cash I imagine I could order the black panels.
EDIT: Anyone know where I can find decal images? The CF site used to have them but the links are dead now.
2nd EDIT: NVM, I used the Internet Archive: Wayback Machine and all the decals on there other than the ITG one were crap. Taking that into account, anyone know where I could find the decals for the mat pictured above or another site with CF decals?

Total Tokens: 490.48 Donate Tokens | Fred 00: It's an okay score for a beginner, but the problem is I know 100% that I hit the pad on that one Boo. At the very least it should have been a Great, if not a Perfect. Ah well, I'll get it right eventually.
Mr Owen: Damn, I didn't know that option existed before I ordered.
I don't know how well it would stick, but maybe that adhesive backed vynyl stuff might let you get the look you want? not sure. I see people talking about "sliding", and I think that would become an issue if that were the case.

I would have to find decals, print and laminate them, etc. (But my mom works at a school and I'm still good friends with all my high school teachers, so I could use a laminator and hi-res printer at one of them most likely.) Did you get the arcade mod? I think everyone usually just picks the black and textured one, because I've never seen the clear one anywhere and couldn't find any pics of it.
I saw a video where someone made slight modifications to make his CF look like a DDR cab mat. All you really have to do is either remove the decals on the non-arrow buttons (corners and middle) and or remove the decals and the lexan from the corners and middle. Although removing the lexan on them would make it annoying since the arrows would be raised like on the crappy TX mats. And if you wanted to go the extra step, you could print off the pink and light blue decals to replace the red and dark blues.

It *looks* like I can order it later and attach it, I'm hoping that is right.besides, since I like to play in my bare feet on the current pad, I figure I'll take advantage of the new one, and glue tacks, pins up, on the areas I shouldn't be stepping. Ok, maybe not, but I sure feel like doing that some days.

I'll find a pair of shoes that breath well and such.

Total Tokens: 1,526.59 Donate Tokens | They had Adidas shoes made specifically for breathing, I believe they're called Climacool or something like that. They have little windows covered in a thick (sometimes rubber) material and shaped to resemble mesh. adidas: Search for "climacool".
I personally think the Stealth and Daroga kickass, but whenever I've seen any of the Climacools in stores they didn't have my size.
These new ones are supposed to breath and also provide extreme support and bounce (hence the name): adidas - Men's Shoes: Bounce & a3® Shoes

Total Tokens: 1,526.59 Donate Tokens | Oh, and by the way, on the order status on cobaltflux.com, if it says "Being Built" are they really building it or is my order just in queue? I know they had orders backed up from the end of May and beginning of June and didn't get to shipping until June 11 because of being out of parts, so I wonder if they're really building it or not. It kind of needs to be here by July 15, I figure it's probably too late. That's only 18 days (less than three weeks) from when the order was placed.

Total Tokens: 490.48 Donate Tokens | well, I ordered on the 26th of June, and it's the 23rd of July now. I'd really like to be able to change the title of the thread to "Cobalt Flux received finally", but the order status still says "being built". :/
