So, who uses a controller to play DDR?
I'm more of a fan of CCR, although I do DDR occasionally at the arcade (Not as much as I used to, though).
Anyway, I think it's fun to score-attack with CCR. It also helped me a lot with my timing in actual DDR.

I just use the controller so I can get all the stuff unlocked. I really don't have any place in my house to play it, not to mention my pads aren't all that good. | |

i use the controller for home versions since i've yet to find a good home pad, and it's much easier to set up
i prefer the arcade over everything, though | |

I play CCR to unlock songs in CS. Play DDR to lose weight :3

CCR to unlock stuff. My pads aren't that good for expert play.
I play CCR for expert and challenge steps.
I use the pad to play basic and difficult levels
But I always play expert and challenge on arcades. | |

I play on controller to unlock stuff in quest mode when I can't do it on pad. Strangely, I play doubles on two controllers.

I play controller when I'm too bored to unplug the controller to put in the pad controller, or when I'm too tired / worried about my toes. For some reason they hurt at the edges, but it doesn't look like an ingrown....

If your feet dry/crack easily, then the areas at the edge of your nails are probably dry/hard as well, which when pressed by the nail, gives the impression of ingrown toenails. Try not wearing shoes occasionally or using foot creams. | |
