So my DDR skill level has finally over come it's plateau. I decided to force myself to read songs at 300BPM and above on 1.5x. The results?

Im now able to pass
-Paranoia Respect Doubles,
-Paranoia Survivor Doubles

And I was able to pretty much play games such as
Max 300
Max Unlimited
Legend of Max
--------
Max 300 Super Max Me Mix
-something else, forget what-
Paranoia Respect

It hurts but I used to only be able to play one or two 10s a day else I'd get really tired. For some reason, doing them on 1.5x, even though they're a bit harder to read, my PA is much much better and I don't get as tired at them. Max 300 AA here I come!

I wasn't trying to say anything about kevin, but I am glad that you have drawn that comparison.

I dont remember exactly what songs they had played before this, but I know Hades expert and challenge, Relinquish expert and challenge, Pluto expert and challenge, and trim were also in those matches.
That being said, I think it is impressive, regardless, that he or anyone can full combo that chart

Lowest Miss/NonFC count on Max300 yet, found it somewhat easier after all the ITG recently.

Might AA it later.

I can survive up to the death run of Pluto Relinquish expert now, and I still find it hilarious how the whole arcade watches you the second you reach around 20 seconds within the song, usually because at that time, the song has reached it's first clusterfuck of arrows.

OMG
after so many years...I have finally beat Mahou no Tobira (Space Maco's Theme) - a.s.a.

yes...and on heavy!!!!

EDIT: Just to let you people know...I still find it hard to play these happy songs in front of a crowd and today was my first time doing it...
EDIT#2: Just to clear up any misconceptions...this song is not on my copy of DDR Ex...and it was my first time playing that song in the public at the arcade.....I beat it out of pure luck as well as rarely playing those Kawaii style songs!!!

What the fuck are you talking about? And if it took you years to pass any song on heavy, you should probably look into getting another hobby. DDR just isn't for you.

That song always gives me so much trouble... since the only thing i can play it on is DDR X.... and those pads are so shitty

I think what Brett meant was "if you're not as good as us you shouldn't be playing DDR". Honestly, kudos to passing the song. I suggest not stopping there and shooting to full combo the song then nail that AA.

No, what Brett meant was, "if it has taken you years of playing to clear an 8, or whatever, you're doing something very, very wrong. and if you're having that much trouble, DDR isn't the game for you" That's like taking years to learn how to ride a bike.

But the problem here is that I dont go to the arcades often since I have DDR Ex at home. BUT My copy of DDR Ex is the NA version which doesnt have that song to practice at home....

0:<
So unless I got out and buy the japanese version of DDR Ex for PS2[which I dont feel like modding], the arcades will be the only place I will be able to play that song....and I occasionally go play DDR at the Arcades!!!

*Crosses arms and taps foot really fast*

so is there anything Brett doesn't understand yet?
