DDR EX US has many good 6-9 footers to practice so you have no excuse.

I am talking about an specific song....I am good at DDR on heavy, but DDR Ex US does not have Mahou no Tobira (Space Maco's Theme) - a.s.a. and is only available through the arcades or DDR Ex JP!!!

I DID SOME RESEARCH to make sure if that song was available through US Extreme. I was thinking maybe I needed to Unlock it but no...I have all the songs unlocked on my copy of DDR Ex!

Edit: BTW, do most of you guys just post and/or do not bother to look at the root of the discussion?

If you want to stop complaining, either get DDR Extreme JP or download the song onto Stepmania.

You could have just played it on an r21 ITG machine, and on Brett's side of the argument, it really shouldn't take that long to have the ability to play an 8 footer. Even if it was a specific song most 8 footers are pretty simple, unless of course it has a shit ton of gimmick bull shit. But yeah, not that hard son.

I’ve mostly been focused on DDR X recently and have been improving quite a bit lately.

In the last week I…

-Got an A on On the Bounce Expert
-Got an A on Horatio Expert
-Finished Saber Wing (Akira Ishihara Headshot remix) on Expert
-Finished Xmix 5 (Overcrush) on Expert (I had never been that out of breath since looping the last stream notes of Max 300 Super-Max-Me-Mix on Challenge for exercise)

Now I just need to beat Trigger, Pluto and Pluto Relinquish on Expert and I’ll have at least survived the whole songlist on Expert.

Also, it’s a bit old, but I got my first heavy AAA earlier this month on Trust:

I play with a CF (barless), and I’m really starting to think I need to do that penny mod Kalek describes in his thread. I’m a ball-of-the-foot player, and there are so many heavies I feel like I’m on the threshold of AAA’ing, but I always fall just short in my great count.

where do I mention it's my first HARD song? and look at my post by following this link...I am sure it will explain a few more things!

[SO on purpose I went back to the ARCADES earlier today and played Mahou no Tobira (Space Maco's Theme) - a.s.a. and I wish I had a camera to show I got a B after two tries and no mod thingies either]

On a side note, why the hell would I get Mahou no Tobira (Space Maco's Theme) - a.s.a. for stepmania when I can go to the arcades? It's more satisfying paying than doing it for free!

I think what they're trying to say is that Mahou no Tobira is a very simple 8 and that if you've beaten other songs of that difficulty then you should realize passing Mahou no Tobira on Heavy is not that much of an accomplishment, even if you haven't played it before.

The fact that you made a big deal out of it and posted a stupid picture along with it made it seem like this was the first hard song you ever passed. However, I hate yo break it to you, but it's not a hard song in any way.

That's not what I am saying at all. If you have been playing ddr for years, there is no song that you should not be able to clear. Seriously, if it has been YEARS, you have no excuse for not being able to clear anything, even charts like pluto or hades.

I've been playing DDR on and off for 5 years, and there are still songs that I cannot pass. This, though, only includes 10-footers that are above the *15 footer* difficulty.

It could be the fact that he never tried to get better.
