the worst idea was putting DDR for the cell phone. Could you believe that??? DDR is available as a downloadable app...it has only 5 songs:
Max 300
Think Ya Better D
Love Shine
Breakdown
Jump 5 (or something)
it's easy as hell even on hard, and is pretty stupid. teh only thing that entertained me was the polyphonic songs, which i wish i could get as ringtones

Remember kids, Konami's aim for DDR on the cellphone is simple: to maximize profits by getting it on as many handsets as possible. Honestly, I tried this version and they use MIDI for greater compatibility to 1) save precious heap memory (runtime memory available for the game) since many phones have very little of it (as low as 512KB) and 2) every phone can play that format. Sure they could of used MP3 or AMR, but the size of each song will kill the heap there and would make it unfeasible. Besides, the vast majority of folks that buy this mobile app are most likely not hardcore or casual players since they would rather stick to the real thing (arcade or home version). | |

What provider are you going through? Mine is (was) through Cingular.
