Default DDR chronologicial guide

Does there exist a way to determine when non canon DDR games were released?

Um, what do you mean by non canon?

DDR 1-7, Solo 1-4, Extra (?), Ex/Ex2, SuperNOVA 1&2, Plus, ReMix, Appends, Korean, Ultramix, Universe, Hottest Party, Mario Mix, Str!ke, Best Hits, USA (?), Konamix, Disney, GB 1-3, Festival....

... then there is Dancing Stage, which is Euro DDR, which technically is canon seeing as they're.... yeah.

All I can think off the top of my head is the two games that came after Extreme, Extreme Plus and Megamix

Even in the realm of non-canon I wouldn't count bootlegs such as those.

I consider canon DDR 1-5, Max, Max 2, Extreme, Super Nova. But how do you know when certain games like DDR USA came out? I'm trying to get a list of every DDR game in order when they were released.

Wikipedia has a list of DDR games and when they were released, although for some of them it just has the year.

DDR USA was an odd mix. It was a fusion of 2nd mix and 3rd mix for all I knew and it was rare to find. Only the local bowling alley had one and it was replaced. I remember whoring it because it was a new mix (this was just before 3rd mix jumped in). For some reason the banner reminded me of California....

Dance Dance Revolution USA wasn't rare. It was very common just unpopular.

Thanks for the reminder to check Wikipedia.

Well it was hella rare in my area. It was either one USA or 10+ 3rd mixes.

Not really, for you see, New York gets it's hands on almost every DDR mix that comes out (even our Toys R Us has a SuperNOVA machine). There was even an arcade consisting of only feet related games (DDR and PIU) and they didn't have USA. So with the abundance of DDR here, it's uncommon to find only one arcade with a different mix than everyone else.

It's like the first DDR. It's not rare, but you wouldn't expect to find it anywhere with all the Extremes and SuperNOVAs out there.

seeing as how most people that actually uh

give a shit

only consider the arcade mixes from 1st through extreme (solo mixes aside) as "canon"

anything other than those mixes would be considered worthless

and gay

I don't care about whether or not a mix is canon, but isn't it easier to say that all the mixes mentioned in the credits for DDR Extreme (JP PS2) are canon?

Honestly why does it matter if a game is canon or not? If a game was released by Kanomi then I would consider it part of the series/
