Anybody got that yet? I've been using that recently, it's pretty fun. I'll still use a regular dance pad, but the Dance Drum is more fun and less tiring! 'Course you'll have a sore back from leaning forward so much.
Imagine a thin-pad, like the Konami softpad. Got that image?
Okay, now harden it a little and then give it two large, plastic drumsticks. It's basically a wacky controller for DDR-ish dance games. Most Gamestop locations have it for $20-30.
Oh yeah, I've heard of this. It's like the Taiko controller that works for DDR, but it's functional for both. It seems like a fun little peripheral, but I'd rather dance while playing my dance games.
Indeed. We already have a drum game. One of the reasons I like DDR is because it's the only thing I do that even vaguely resembles excercise. The drum isn't going to help me any in that regard.
IMHO: That drum is a stupid idea of DDR. Come on, it's called "DANCE DANCE Revolution" for a reason! There are other games that use drums (Donkey Konga Jungle Beat and Taiko Drum Master, in particular), and having a mat to play drums on for DDR is just plain wrong.
