Default Dance Dance Revolution: Disney Channel Edition Pre-Thread

Boy oh boy.

When I first heard about a new Disney mix, pleasant memories of the 10-footer that isn't, evenings of flames, and ducks that are indeed quite macho filled my mind. It was a wonderful rush of nostalgia. Then, I was confronted with this box art, posted on Konami's website. Needless to say, my eurobeat hopes and dreams of that famous mouse were set ablaze, sad ashes where they once stood. However, I still hold on to that one last thread of hope that maybe, JUST MAYBE, I will once again be greeted with pieces of the songlist of old. Delusions they may be, but sometimes, dreams can come true.

That said, I'm actually looking forward to this one. Maybe I'm dumb for thinking this, but I think "He Said She Said" from SuperNOVA 2 US had a really fun chart, so I'm hoping I can expect more of the same from other crappy High School Musical singers as well as that god-awful Hannah Montana.

Am I alone in this anticipation? Do you think that maybe this game will be good? POST YOUR OPINIONS ON THIS INTERNET.

Denial is always the first step.

That said, I notice that there's a huge difference between "Disney" and "Disney Channel", which is why Toon Disney exists as a separate channel as opposed to being bundled with the peppy live-action stuff that Disney regularly puts out on there. So beware your delusion.

"Cool and relevant with today's youth" doesn't seem to describe Eurobeat as much as, say, Hannah Montana.

Konami isn't developing this one, though. It's by some nobody company named Keen Games.

Yeah, Disney Channel is not a channel that you pay extra for to watch old Mickey Mouse and company cartoons.

Copy/pasting responses from News report:

I'm probably going to get this game, alot of my family enjoys Disney Channel's stuff (me included), and I've always been a fan of Better Off Alone, even though it's like seven years old now.

Miley Cyrus can really hold a tune, I rather enjoy her works. HSM is pretty okay too, I like about half of the songlist from 2 (What Time Is It being my favorite) and one or two from 1 but I'm kind of meh about the rest. What I'm wondering is if The Chosen One (American Dragon: Jake Long Theme) is in it or not, I loved Season 2's rendition of it.

I'm not expecting a very hard Final song, but if Konami can do something like IT'S A SMALL WORLD (Ducking HARDCORE ReMIX) or Supercalifragalisticexpialidocious again it'd be enough for me. Those songs were AMAZING musically, and pretty good stepwise.

Again, this game is not developed by Konami, so don't get your hopes up.

They may have some part in it, but they credit Keen Games as the developer.

Standard, Difficult? Argh they can't be consistent with the difficulty names on this one. :/

Edit: LOL WARNING instead of DANGER!
