Congratulations, you made a topic with almost no reason to exist and basic flamebait in the post. Enjoy your tokens, hack.

For anyone who is interested: yes, four DDR games were made for the GBC (3 "mixes" and Disney's Rave), and each came with an attachable "pad" for the system that... well... didn't work with anything but a GBC, so tough luck playing it on your GBA, kiddies.

Some songs were ported relatively well. Others were disappointing, to say the least (Afronova, PARANOiA, I'm looking at you.)

The only thing I like about it?

Hikki's Automatic and some anime theme songs.

That's about it.

Speaking of rhythm games on handhelds... Mary Kate and Ashley's Girl's Night Out for GBA was surprisingly good. Disturbing to watch, but reasonable gameplay. Defeinitely more fun than the GBC DDRs...

LOL, that video lacks information.

Now, Britney's Dance Beat, now that was horrible.

Actually the only handheld music games that I thought were worth anything were those Mermaid Melody Pitchi Pitchi Pitch games, and Felicia's minigame in SNK vs. Capcom for the NeoGeo Pocket Color. :p

For some reason I actually own one of the DDR GB games, and like Fletcher said, they're a pain to play on the GBA. They're sort of fun to play if you're bored, but the timing window sucks. Not to mention all of the songs are really 8-bit/MIDI-ish. That's not in a good way, either.

I remember seeing a picture on Lik-Sang or something and it had ddr for the ds. That would kinda work, wouldn't it? I think the ds is good enough quality to have the actual tracks, and the second screen served as the pad. Looked kinda cute to me.

You can use the control pad, and I believe B is up and A is right for jumps that you couldn't normally hit with just the control pad. But it's really just easier to use a GBC + the pad they give you.

I'm definitely downloading the simfiles for the GB versions. They sound really corny, but I like them. (I find crappy midi files humorous. ^_^)

Strangely enough, I do too. I mic-recorded some of the songs from Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land. I have no life.

Link NOW

Edit: It's not that one that doesn't work for some reason, or you have to reset the DS after every song, is it?

Another Edit: Better not be the Harry potter DDR either.
