Throw in a JP SuperNOVA 1 or 2 somewhere in there for good measure, They`re alright but nothing beats the classics like Konamix. That mix was the shit for its time.

DDR EXtreme Jap
Ugh. Imo, every english mix after DDR Max became terrible as they began licensing more and more mainstream american artists and straying from the classic bemani artists. I personally feel that DDRMax2 had the worst songlist of all the us mixes, and comes close to DDR Extreme2 in terrible songlists. However, DDR Supernova beats DDR Supernova 2 in interface and just barely manages to have a more enjoyable songlist than Supernova 2. It feels like ITG is extremely prevalent in Supernova 2, so it doesn't feel so much like DDR anymore. Still, DDRMax US really defined the dance genre with titles like Stomp to My Beat, Sandstorm, Dark Black Forest, Healing Vision, Midnight Blaze, and Max 300.
As for Japanese mixes, I only have played the DDR Extreme Jap mix, but they have enough new songs and revivals to keep you content if you enjoy all the popular songs. All of the songlists from American versions have been stealing songs from the Japanese version of Extreme, like Daikenkai (Extreme2), Mikeniko Rock (Supernova2), and others, and the american DDR mixes still haven't seen "boss" songs in Extreme Jap like DDR All Stars and Max period, which isn't as much of a b**ch to play after seeing boss songs from American Supernova 2.
Also, just wondering what songs make Supernova Jap worth playing, as well as Jap Supernova 2, besides Pluto.

also i personally think extreme2 had a good songlist, but it seems a lot of people disagree with me on that

I only spent a little time on it, but it seemed like there were a lot of shitty, mainstream US songs and nothing particularly astounding.

i haven't played extreme 2 once since i got strike | well, strike was mostly just "hey let's take all those US exclusives and throw them together on a mix for japan along with a few new songs" so that makes sense

It had some gems. Like Cult Of Gynosillis, Spirit of The Hawk, Insaner, are all good. Istanbul Not Constantinople, and Rock Lobster are epic for inducing lulz.
Walk This Way was the ONLY good license however. Even though the file is shit easy.

also i personally think extreme2 had a good songlist, but it seems a lot of people disagree with me on that | Especially since our Supernova 2 hasn't been connected to the e-amuse server so not all of the songs are unlocked so buying the CS version is the alternate way to play those e-amuse songs..
