DETAILS:
-Multi Mode: Multiplayer affair. Up to 4 players.
-Battle Mode: Dance fight using powerups to toss hinderances at your opponent using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
-Friendship Mode: Everyone shares one giant stepchart. Step accuracy for each player is off on the sides. Similar to Ultramix/Universe Sync Mode, but without the one-step-you-lose rule.
-Over 40 new dance stages
-50 all-new songs
-25 brand new songs from Konami's famous composers

Huh. Maybe they'll go off like in Mario Mix, where you have to step on them to lose life. Or maybe it's something more graphically dynamic that's simply hiding the arrow direction; o.o

This song is hideously overplayed at all clubs and I would kindly like it to burn. Along with We Be Burnin'. It's not the song, it's the fact that no DJ in Canada seems able to spin a set without this song in the repertoire.

The LOVE SHINE english version is called -World Style-? Huh, cool. I thought it kicked some serious butt. I hope it makes it to the game.

They seemed to take a lot of steps in the right direction here. A nintendo ddr without Mario. ^_^ Let the world rejoice.

A different dance for every song? Also good. Heck, that's fantastic. It'll make the game seem a lot less forced and maybe it'll fix the seizures the dancers have when songs go over 200 bpm.

Has anyone seen how the wiimote will be implemented menu-wise? The trailer had the master mode in there, which explains that...but what about the songlist? You could have a lot of fun with the way the songlist is set up if the Wiimote is used.

However, this is Konami. They DID stumble a bit. Namely, the dancers. I thought the green camo Emi was pretty sweet, but then they threw everything into a blender and pushed immomolate. They could've done something a little less...chibi-ish.

All-in-all, looking good, however, i could've sworn someone said 70+ songs somewhere, and now we're getting 50 on the front page? Maybe it's because of the individual dances.

Yes. The English songs are part of a compliation that NAOKI did on Konami Music Full which is called "WorldWide Style", hence the name. The English version of CANDY however is called Candy (UFO Mix).

Because my eyes can't tolerate being in front of a computer screen as much as they used to. Also, humidity. I'll get to the updates soon.

This looks so badass!

One more thing would make this even better though -- ONLINE PLAY. No reason not to have it, because the Wii has Wi-Fi built in. I haven't played DDR PS2 online because of the hassle w/ an ethernet adapter and such, but if this worked w/ Wi-Fi I'd be glad to play online.

Well done Konami! Some real innovation finally
