I just found out in the SN2 nonstop megamix that some songs didn't just retain their original tune, or get remixed a bit, but a certain song had a BPM change to 170, which is Blind Justice. Original was 1:44 in song length. NM version was about 1:35.
MARS WAR 3 is almost the same song with scratching all over it.
Well, discuss or rant about nonstop megamixes here, what you find amusing, what you find disappointing (like the SN Nonstop Megamix), etc.

Best:
Solo
Extreme
3rd
2nd
Moderately like:
4th
5th
Max
Max 2
Worst:
SuperNOVA
SuperNOVA 2
Seriously, the SN nonstops sound like they're just crossovers or something you could do in Audacity. Solo has the best transition to Trip Machine and an excellent PARANOiA Evolution remix. Extreme was packed to the brim, and most of the pre-extreme songs have their own nonstop megamix songs to pick in the arcades.

i should probably host it somewhere instead of just putting it on a torrent site
out of konami's, i like 3rd the most. 6th was also really good. max2's sounds like it was made in like an hour which is disappointing since it had so many good songs

Extreme was a whack megamix. All they did was use full versions for the licenses, and for the originals they just made them longer by repeating a part of the song again. I could have done the same thing, not like the older mixes which actually used different versions of the songs.
I always looked forward to the mixes, even Strike/Festival was done well. SN and SN2 suck though, you can tell that they did it themselves instead of going through Dancemania like the older ones.

Total Tokens: 124.71 Donate Tokens | OMG! I actually imported all the OST's except for anything after Extreme... but now I just listen to them all on my Ipod now. My favorites... 2nd mix nonstop Megamix....
Amazing... its the original, also full extended cuts of some songs and longer versions to some songs... different sounds to 20 november and everything blended together well. 3rd Mix Nonstop megamix...
Excellent placement of songs, amazing mix overall... the mix itself had classics like End of the Century, Afronova, Jam Jam Reggae, Gradiusic Cyber, Captain Jack, Boom Boom Dollar, Butteryfly Upswing, and that mix of both Paranoia KCET and Paranois Rebirth was amazing. And Vol. 4, Flashdance, and Follow the sun... such a good mix... upbeat times and even the slower songs were mixed in and blended well so the mix didnt feel boring overall. 5th mix Nonstop megamix...
lots of speedier songs, eurobeat, and very upbeat mix overall despite some songs were really 4th mix plus but I loved 5th mix a lot and Hot Limit, Lupin the 3rd, Sky High, Wonda, Rhythm and Police... OMG! 6th Mix nonstop megamix...
One of the best mixes... the new announcer was apparent in this, a different cut of Max 300, pieces of songs you dont hear in the DDR mixes, something original and unique done with the placement of songs... and then Healing Vision Angelic mix with its extended cut and candy with a little extra to it. and who can forget the amazing songs from 6th mic like Follow Me, Flash in the night, Juistfy my love, Bye Bye Baby Balloon, Ghosts [vincent de moor mix]... sadly those songs never appeared on mixes other than 6th with the exception of Ghosts on Max 2 US. Extreme nonstop Megamix....
I loved it, while some songs were just extra pieces added onto them it was at least something extra... but while Extreme was a big mix it was missing a lot of stuff to it but overall song placement was good and that transition from bag to paranoia survivor then paranoia survivor Max was flawless and amazing... Stoic sounded good on this mix, and so did Frozen ray, Cartoon Heroes, and Dance Dance Revolution... and since Dance Dance Revolution is one of my favorite Naoki tracks I am a little biased. Solo 2000 nonstop megamix....
the girl announcer is amazing I wish they would use her a lot more often in DDR... nothing tops the whole insults she makes like... "youre a loser", "game over", "get out of here" and "get off this stage"... and then theres the difference in the vibe... like the first half of the mix is all the pop type songs and the standard Dancemania europop and liscenses and all the happpier stuff then it goes to Paranoia Evolution and right to My Baby Mama and the vibe then changes into a more "booty mix" through the rest of it... I love it... One of the best nonstop megamixes... and who can forget Together and Forever, Kiss Me, Paranoia Evolution, Sexy planet, Drop Out, Wild Rush, Hysteria, My Baby Mama, Typical Tropical, and High Energy! The Crap... 4th Mix nonstop megamix...
I hated it... It had some good songs on the mix overall but while it started out all upbeat and good there is a huge slump of slower songs I didnt like in there all back to back [after the game of love, baby give me your love, make your move] and then it got better near the end of the mix but theres too big of a gap in between.... It had so much going for it but blew it in the middle! 7th Mix nonstop megamix....
I just wasnt too thrilled with it... I mean good songs overall but I didnt like the placement of most of them and after 6th mix being such a good nonstop megamix it kinda ruined my expectations of it since it was pretty much shorter versions of most of the songs and nothing original like extended cuts for a few songs like previous nonstop megamizes had! Supernova and Supernova 2...
Not done by Dancemania... Need I say more! Supernova 2 would have something good going for it if they had placed the songs better and kept the announcer... also Planet songs should have been mixed from one to the other near the end of the mix... wasnt the point of adding planet songs in the first place to have songs that get dramatically epic the farther you get to Pluto... and by playing all the Planet songs in succession with eachother on my Original Oni my Supernova 2 JP its so easy to blend them together. The ending to the last part of the nonstop should have been something like
Sunkiss Drop
L'amour et la liberte
Venus
Stars [retuned by HAL]
Mars War 3
Jupiter The Bringer of Jollity
Saturn
Uranus
Posideon
Pluto
[maybe insert trip machine Phoenix]
Paranoia Hades
Pluto Relinquish | |

Stuff like Exotic Ethnics and La Senorita's are to kill for, however I like 3rd mixes for it's End of the Century, as the bass is turned up to the max.
Love Extreme's remixed credit roll ONLY.
On a non-DDR related note, I love DanceManiax 1st Mix's one, especially how Heaven is a '57 Metallic Gray is remixed too.
