Marketplace Rating: 0 | DDR is starting to suck Donīt you think that DDR is starting to suck little bit I mean itīs not what it used to be, I mean for one the difficulty itīs so damn easy in the super nova version and specially if you compare to PIU donīt you think. And the song lost itīs even worse, I mean itīs was pretty F-ed up when they included a britney Spears song in the 5th mix for the PSX and now they Included a jannet jackson song? DDR is going down the drain What do you guys think should they just call it a day with the franchise or keep screwing up the best Dance simulation Game up to the Extreme version of course.. Now I know this was a little long.... but I had to get it out of my chest....

I can play 10 foot songs, but I still choose to play 6-8 foot songs. Why? It's still fun for me. When it gets to to point where you're no longer having fun, don't play. (or better yet, find an ITG or PIU cab)

| Difficulty can vary. Just because one game has an easier set doesn't mean the next will. Look at Ultramix 3. They at least made up the difficulty in songpacks. Quote: |

| You need SOMETHING to appeal to the mainstream. And, you're putting in the worst of factors as your argument. Just because an artist is behind it doesn't mean the mix instantly blows ass. Having NEVER heard of Dance, Dance, for example, I was pleasantly surprised to find it passable. Toxic is actually another decent song from our favorite bald.
A lot of us are holding steadfast that the dev team is paying attention to us, for once. DDR really needs a lot of user customization at home and at the arcade via a memory card. There's a bunch of things that can make both experiences enjoyable. We just want KONAMI. TO. FUCKING. LISTEN. Quote: |

| Uh...this is nowhere near "long". And your grammar needs work.

Max 2 was the last truly good AC game when it came to the song-list, and meanwhile EX AC had to jam-pack it with a lot of songs and they sacrificed the sound quality of the songs to make them all fit. Back then, the edits of IIDX, pop'n, etc. songs didn't bother me because they are complete bastardizations, but when SN came out, I couldn't fucking stand what they did with the edits.
Most of the new charts aren't hard, or they wouldn't be if they didn't add some two-bit gimmick to the charts. FAXX has steps that go to nothing and BPM changes and Chaos has stops that were so misplaced that they had to use 24ths/32nds/48ths to make them on sync with the song. Fuck, that happened to FAXX as well.
Most of the other songs are 7s or 8s because it seems that songs have to have difficult charts bestowed upon them by the royal family. AA is a 9 on Heavy but a 12 in IIDX, and for some unknown reason, Outer Limits, being a 5 on IIDX, is a 10. A pathetic 10, but still a 10 nonetheless. It feels like that they choose songs and their difficulties by playing a game of darts. The darts represent the song and the places on the board represent the difficulty level that they will make the chart. If they hit the center, it gets an oni.
The problem is not the game. It's the people working on the games who suck. Leave DDR alone since it's the guys behind the scenes that you need to be annoyed with.

| At the very least, they definitely are listening. They came around Ultramix 2 so anything basically after EXTREME US, Ultramix 1, and Festival is probably made up of half of their work.
I'm sure they DEFINITELY heard us after we've seen stuff like FELM Oni and the Oni chart for the Tsugaru remix in Universe.

You're reminding me of a lot of the people at my local arcade. A lot of them constantly complain about how DDR sucks, yet they keep playing. They'll set records and enter their name as "DDRSUKS". Yet practically every time I go there, there they are.
If you think DDR sucks, don't play? It's annoying to the rest of us who are still on the DDR train.

Marketplace Rating: 2 | thats all one opinoin, all though you do make osme good points, its still fun for most of us.
I try to go to arcades all the time so I can play, because I really cant play at home anymore (I am VERY arcade accurate, not even metal dance pads help me at home).
I also think they should bring SuperNOVA 2 here soon, I mean Whenever I go to my SuperNOVA machine, it is VERY CROWDED. You have to wait a good ten minutes until you can play. although this is based off of really 2 locations We really need another arcade version.
thats my opinoin on why DDR Sucks at the arcade, but thats the only thing that sucks in my opinoin.

That's like joining a Harry Potter fanclub and telling everyone their all crap.
And no, for us Brits DDR (DS :P) is just getting good!

Also I love how nobody on the internet can spell 'opinion' correctly.
