Question DDR: Strike?

So I've been tooling around the 'net over the past few days, looking at importing various Bemani games from Japan. I was previously aware that there have been two DDR releases there that don't really correspond to anything here: Festival and Extreme. (Yes, I know there's a U.S. Extreme, but it's completely different enough that I consider it an entirely separate game.)

However, everywhere I go I seem to be running across this DDR: Strike which is fairly new and has no English-language reviews.

Does anyone know anything about this game? Do you recommend for or against it? And is it worth picking up while it's on sale ($48.00 shipped at Play-Asia)?

Strike is EXTREME 2's unlocks as the default list, a few of its own unique licenses, and using the non-songpack KOs in Ultramix 2 as its unlocks.

Note that unlike most other Japanese DDR games, this one is ALL in Japanese. If you aren't familiar with Ex2's menus, you may have a bit of trouble navigating this game.

It has DoLL. That's good enough for me.

DoLL and Ki-Se-Ki are the only songs that are really worth it on the mix. I seem to recall one or two others being decent... (fly through the night is a great song, but the stepchart is awful) but the best songs on it are on DDR Extreme 2.

I was almost positive that Ki-Se-Ki was on Strike. Of course, perhaps I am thinking of iFuturelist... I remember live-action girls in one of the backgrounds. I could've sworn it was a BeForU song.

Yeah, you're right. This makes Strike suck even more.

Ki-Se-Ki is on DDR Festival.
Strike is only worth getting if you like Knock Out Regrets (and it's better on Pop'n Music 12 Iroha anyway!)
Extreme (NTSC-J) is just like Extreme... the arcade version... with only like 110 songs instead of 248.

DDR Supernova for PS2 might have the new content Strike had... so maybe it's not worth uh purchasing Strike and instead just waiting for DDR Supernova CS?

DDR STRiKE is the US's DDR EXTREME 2, just with a different song list.

Fix'd.

Strike is a good game, but pales in comparison to Ultramix 2 and Extreme 2 which are, arguably, the best domestic releases of DDR on their respective consoles. If you've got EX2, wait for SuperNOVA to come out here to catch up.
