Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence allowed you to check your stats and communicate with other people.

e-Amusement in Japan allows people to check their stats and stuff online.

I know there is no real connection except for the fact MGS and DDR are both Konami's territory but if things like that go on here in America and ideas from Japan usually get adopted here then it'll be quite unlikely for them to ignore that feature here.

Based on the videos, I'd say it's probably just a little more than SuperNOVA.

Yeah, Supernova 2 load times are longer than Supernova from what I experience. As far as I can tell from the game, the timing is off, but it's already addressed to Konami, so everything is good to go on my standards. Just can't wait for the e-Amusement reader used at it's full potential on DDR and other Bemani arcade games.

Does no one go to the supernova location anymore? Theres a new song unlocked, Dream of Love or something by some wiered japanese girl name. Koichi Shiema or something like that. (could be completely different.) I got it as soon as I stuck in my E amuse card, so I think Konami just released it. It came at the same time as Shades of Grey. Its a 7 I believe. Maybe a 6. I didnt pay much attention to it, the songs ok, nothing special, Kinda R&B, maybe pop. Its 170 bpm I think. Some guy told me the BPM, and this number seems to ring a bell. The steps are easy, but they go well with the song.
As far as what I like and dislike about SN2, I dont dislike a lot, accept Volcano, and thats only because the song is so unbelievably off synch. I like how they made most of the doubles charts (at least the ones ive played) different.
Shades of Grey is a good song, but they steps are horrid, and the double steps are about the same, but theres some akward freezes thrown in.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun, I really like what we have so far. The steps are all decent to good (Although most of them are easy), and the songs, especially the licences, are good.

I dont like how people are wishing they would just get there supernova back. This is supernova with more songs. I just dont really understand. The machine gets little to no attention while im there. The most people ive seen on it is 3. I would be there more often if I lived closer. I may go again this weekend.

It's not the same effect as compared to beatmania IIDX GOLD in the past, because DDRSN2 isn't really "new" to the music gaming crowd. The sad truth to testing it in Brunswick is it's next to both the ITG2 machines, which some people are more attracted to watching people play ITG2 instead of SN2 for all that matters.

Hey, I just saw that Dream of Love is on the US home version, and its the same thing, and I was suprizingly close on the artist.

Most stuff is synched perfectly fine.

I played on it the second day it was there, and, on NO SLEEP, AAAd Why Not, and Freeway Shuffle, Freeway Shuffle was sightread. I think I got 24 perfects on Why Not,?

I'm really getting tired of hearing people complain that the sync is off WHEN IT'S NOT. If people keep complaining to Konami that the synching is wrong with it's perfectly fine, it's going to get screwed up and we'll end up with another SN1.

Uh ... no it isn't. It got delayed by two weeks. It's due to be released on the 22nd of August in Japan.

It was pushed back at least two weeks. Don't get your hopes up.

EDIT: In the three minutes it took me to read the page and reply, al2k4 replied. Although there has been no announcement from Konami that the 22nd is the date, so let's just say it is tentatively scheduled for the end of August.

He said it was located on the data for the SuperNOVA PS2 disc.
