If you're looking for discussion on the Arcade version, go here.
This spoiler rule is no longer in effect. --- DEFAULT SONGLIST First line of song entry will have the name of the song followed by the artist.
Then the second line of each entry will have the BPM (lowest to highest BPMs only, if any) and the step difficulties in the order of Basic, Difficult, and Expert, in that order with Singles play ratings coming up first and Doubles after. If a song has Challenge steps, they will be colored purple. And since it really sucks that Konami changed the names, here's the old stuff for reference: Light = Basic Standard = Difficult Heavy = Expert Challenge = Challenge Battle Without Honor or Humanity - Tomoyasu Hotei

172 BPM / 4-7-9 4-6-8 Peace(^^)v - BeForU
142 BPM / 2-5-6 2-5-6 Robogirl - The Crystal Method
("Roboslut" is the true title of this song, obviously changed to get the game's E10+ rating)

130 BPM / 3-5-6- 8 4-5-6- 8 Xepher - Tatsh
170 BPM / 5-7-9-10 5-6-9-10 WHITE SONGS denote a licensed song. Those that are also denoted with italics have been in a previous DDR game and most likely contain their old step charts. These are songs people are pretty much familiar with. CYAN SONGS denote Konami Originals. These are the songs made in-house at Konami. Coincidentally, all but one are from the arcade version. This means you can make Edit Data for these songs and use them on an arcade version of DDR SuperNOVA (except for Hit n' Slap). DARK ORANGE SONGS denote licensed songs from the arcade version. However you look at it, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. If you were looking to make Edit Data for a licensed song from the arcade version, these are the only songs you can make data for. Don't expect the other licensed songs to show up at all. --- MODES OF PLAY Stellar Master Mode -
This game's Dance Master Mode, somewhat renamed to go along with the game's title. As evidenced by screenshots, this mode has gone through significant, if not drastic, refinements. (Free Play Mode) - Undoubtedly the mode to play any songs you've unlocked. There are now normal stages again like DDRMAX, DDRMAX2, and EXTREME. It is NOT like EXTREME 2's Free Play Mode where you play songs without any end or any Extra Stage/OMES. (We'll get the real name of this mode AND know if you can unlock songs here later.) Advanced Mode -
Another carryover from EXTREME 2. Course, Combo Challenge, Survival, Endless, and Battle are in here. Note: Combo Challenge and Survival were seen in screenshots so this is NOT a spoiler![/color] Online Mode - The return of online play! This time, Konami provides an incentive: Online Mode features songs that only appear here! And don't worry: online play is free just like in EXTREME 2. Workout Mode - It just wouldn't be DDR without it. Screens show Profile features introduced in EXTREME 2 will return. Edit Mode -
Another staple feature: create your own stepcharts, and this time (for once), be able to play them on an arcade machine. Those who own older games will be happy to know the home version of SuperNOVA is able to import data from the old releases...at least, from the look of the complete arcade songlist, just the Konami Originals anyway. Training Mode - ANOTHER staple feature: the game will provide what you need to help you figure out those steps you can't do. ----- UNLOCKS (A.K.A. SPOILERS)
From here on, the content here is all the stuff you unlock in the game. It will all be hidden with a spoiler tag. By clicking on the spoiler to reveal the information, you agree that you basically have no problem with reading the spoilers and that if you have any problems, well, that's YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT.

thanks | |

1)USA never had DDR 2 to Extreme in the arcade.
2)This SuperNova USA is the first arcade port of a DDR released in the states
3)Japanese version is an Aracade port as well
4)First DDR that's arcade port that USA is releasing before Japan
*from my understanding

If it WERE different, the game's songlist would be taking everything new from the arcade game. But it isn't as it was already evidenced in the press release and the V-Rare. If Konami put every license from the arcade game, there would be no reason to go to the arcade.
(And frankly, they could have ZERO licenses from the arcade. The steps blow ass.)
And NOTHING out there says the Japanese version is a port.

Some of the songs like DoLL would probably not be on the SuperNova since JP already has it so whatever songs they don't have.
