Hello all  MAybe I need someone help me about ddr supernova upgrade kit.
I couldn't find the details about upgrade kit Supernova .
i need more detail about a detail hardware specification. manual how to upgrade ,price, any photograph if you have. i will using it for present owner who have decision to buy it If someone know about it pleaseeee inform to me 
ps. very hard to find it

Half an hour and hasn't been locked...interesting. Although it could deserve it's own thread.
Anyway, it should be shipped to purchasers by the second week of Oct., so I've heard in the AC forum, but I don't know where to buy it myself. I need that info for my local arcade manager. Of course, she might already know.
Do Extreme machines have PS2's in them as well? Or does the software in the upgrade kit not need a PS2? I know very little about the inside of these machines...
Oh, and my EXTREME was upgraded from a 3rd mix. That won't affect anything, will it? | |

DDR Extreme machines (as well as all Japanese DDR mixes, for that matter) run off the System 573 hardware, which is essentially a modified PlayStation 1 hardware kit.
DDR SuperNOVA upgrade kits require a complete hardware upgrade, meaning that any DDR mix (except Dancing Stage Fusion) wanting to upgrade to SuperNOVA needs to be gutted of the System 573 hardware and replaced with the new PS2-based hardware.

Nothing offical has been said yet but the 2nd week of October would be awsome.
As ColorOfSakura has said, it need a complete software upgrade.
I don't even know if old cabinets can be upgraded but I bet they will be able to.
Look to our front page or DDRfreak for any of this kind of information.

Supernova's hardware is just a normal Japanese PS2 with an HDD and an adapter board.

I was playing earlier this afternoon and I have observed that the song e-motion is in good condition... But before, The stepchart is off measure on the music itself... The spelling of the song Love Suger(before) is now Love Sugar... and I have AAed DoLL on Heavy(Expert) with a score of 9600000 something but before I only get A with a score of 8700000 something... | |

At the DigitalLife expo today in NYC, I managed to talk Ryan Cravens from Betson (he's the liason between us and Konami with regard to the arcade version BTW) since he was running a booth for his company, and he told me that the kits shipped last Friday. The reason for the delay: it seems that Konami gave them kits with the older build in them and that they had to manually patch each machine via reinstall with the new build at an average of one hour per machine. | |
